What’s Up

Family Channel gets schooled this fall by practical jokers and a new nanny on Friday, September 30 with The 100% Cheese-Free Marathon.

Delivering a sneak peek of the new comedy Jessie at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and the premiere of reality series PrankStars at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, the lineup is packed with laughs.

The night also features new episodes of Phineas and Ferb, Good Luck Charlie and What’s Up, Warthogs!, along with revealing the winner for the Roving Reporter contest.

Debby Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck) stars in the new comedy series Jessie, headlining the night at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The new Disney Channel Original Series follows a Texan teen who moves to New York City.

She lands a job as a nanny to a high-profile couple’s four children, one of their imaginary friends and a seven foot Asian Water Monitor lizard named Mr. Kipling.

In the sneak peek episode, Jessie quickly discovers how much she relies on the support and advice of the kids in her care. New episodes of the series will air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT from October 14.

Making its debut earlier in the night at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT is the reality series PrankStars. Hosted by Mitchel Musso (Pair of Kings), the hidden-camera series features stars surprising their biggest fans as unsuspecting tweens and teens are set up by family members and come face-to-face with their favourite celebrities. In the premiere episode, 14-year-old Mary is put to the test when she is paired up with Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), disguised as a typical teenager, in an audition for a fake bubble gum commercial. The fun continues as Debby Ryan recruits Albany to model for her upcoming fashion show and Mitchel Musso gets in on the pranks when he asks an unsuspecting Luke to pretend to be his best friend.

Leading to the premiere of Jessie and PrankStars, new episodes air on Family Channel from 4:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning with Phineas and Ferb. Candace tries to bust the boys but doesn’t realize that they are helping out with their mom’s modern art installation and Dad accidentally crosses paths with Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

At 4:30 p.m. ET/PT it’s a new episode of What’s Up, Warthogs! in which Eric tries to impress a girl and becomes jealous when the gang seems to like her more than him. During this episode, Family will also announce the first, second and third place winners of the What’s Up, Warthogs! Roving Reporter Contest. After submitting a newscast and having viewers vote for it, the grand prize winner earns a trip for three to Toronto and the special guest spot in a What’s Up, Warthogs! webisode.

Family is delivering two new episodes of Good Luck Charlie to keep the fun rolling from 6:30 p.m. ET/PT. Gabe and his friend Leo (Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez) start competing lemonade stands. Later, at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, Teddy and Ivy ditch class for the day after Teddy discovers she has a reputation for being a goody-two-shoes.
