Weeds will have a new face in the line-up next season with actress Linda Hamilton joining the show.

It has been reported that the actress will appear for several episodes in the show’s sixth season as an eco-conscious marijuana grower who lends a helping hand to Nancy.

The news comes just weeks after series regular Elizabeth Perkins announced she is calling it quits on the show to pursue a role in a James Marsden movie.

Prison Break’s Peter Stormare, who played mob boss John Abbruzzi in the crime drama, has also announced he is joining Weeds for the upcoming season.
