Two and a Half Men

TwoHalfMen2013Two and a Half Men has cast a lesbian character to play Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) illegitimate daughter.

The 21-year-old character, who is joining to somewhat replace part-timer Angus T Jones, is described as “sexy and gorgeous”.

Originally, the character will be recurring, with the possibility of an extension to a series regular.

The introduction of a gay character is a good move for the comedy and the CBS network in general, as the network was ranked last out of the major networks in terms of programming featuring gay characters.

Paint it, Pierce it or Plug itChuck Lorre has confirmed that Angus T Jones will indeed be returning to Two and a Half Men.

The teenage actor appeared to have shot himself in the foot with his infamous YouTube rant last year where he labelled the sitcom “filth”.

It seems Lorre is still keen to have Jones back on the show, saying they will work him into the series around his college schedule.

“Angus is going to college in the fall, which is, I think, wonderful, which is appropriate, and he’ll be on the show as available around his college schedule,” Lorre said. Continue reading »

TwoHalfMen2013Two and a Half Men will take a slightly different approach next season with word that a young female will replace Angus T. Jones as a series regular.

Jones is exiting as a regular and producers are casting a young female who will be Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) daughter.

Deadline reports that a girl in her late teens will show up on Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) doorstep in search of her father, who she claims used to live there.

She will eventually move in with Walden and Alan (Jon Cryer) and the show’s transformation from Two and A Half Men to Two Guys and a Girl will be complete.

Two-and-a-half-men-ashton-kutcherHilary Duff will join Ashton Kutcher on the season finale of Two and a Half Men.

The actress will feature as Walden’s (Kutcher) love interest Stacey in the final episode of the tenth season.

Taxi actress Marilu Henner will also join the cast for the finale to play the grandmother of Duff’s character.

Two and a Half Men is yet to be renewed for an eleventh season by the CBS network.

Paint it, Pierce it or Plug itTwo and a Half Men has acknowledged Angus T. Jones’s now infamous melt-down on its latest episode.

The actor hit the headlines late last year when he openly bagged the show in a YouTube rant and urged viewers not to watch it.

However, it seems all is forgiven now given a crack Berta (Conchata Ferrell) made on this week’s episode about going “off the rails”.

Jake (Jones) brings home a new girlfriend (played by Jaime Pressly) but it turns out the two were on different pages when it comes to their relationship and this seems to stress Alan (Jon Cryer) out. Continue reading »

angermanagement2Charlie Sheen has taken yet another swipe at his former Two and a Half Men showrunner Chuck Lorre, this time regarding The Big Bang Theory.

Sheen has bagged the comedy series – another of Lorre’s creations – calling it “lame” and “stupid”.

“You gotta think about the shows that my show launched. I should have added in a clause that said anything that uses me as a lead-in, cut me in,” he told The Guardian.

“I’m sorry, but Big Bang Theory is a piece of s**t – it’s a stupid show and it’s just lame, about lame people. I like the kids in it, but that show without [Two and a Half Men] as a lead-in is… goodbye. And I’m rooting for those kids, because I know who they’re dealing with. The fact that they’re still sane is crazy. You know? He’s a bad man. And I’ve backed off from him for a while. Continue reading »

Walden (Ashton Kutcher) and Alan (Jon Cryer) go to Kate’s (Brooke D’Orsay) fashion show in New York so Walden can tell her the truth about his identity.

8:30pm – Thursday, December 6 on CTV

Alan (Jon Cryer) helps Walden (Ashton Kutcher) create a new identity in order to find a woman who isn’t just after his money. Brooke D’Orsay (How to Fall in Love) guest stars as Walden’s new love interest, Kate.

CBS head honcho Les Moonves has commented on the Angus T. Jones rant, saying the actor is still happy to collect his pay each week for Two and a Half Men.

The network CEO told reporters at a recent Q&A that this kind of thing happens to child actors ever now and then.

“I don’t know what our status is with him,” Moonves said. “We took this boy, who started with us when he was eight years old, and it seems to be what happens with child stars over the course of time. He is now making over $300,000 per week, which is not a bad salary for a 19 year old kid. Continue reading »

Charlie Sheen has waded into the Angus T Jones YouTube controversy and once again attacked Two and a Half men creator Chuck Lorre.

Jones, who plays Jake on the sitcom, recently urged fans to stop watching the show as he says it’s “filth”.

“Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube,” Sheen told TMZ.

“I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami.” Continue reading »
