Get ready for some side-splitting comedy as CTV’s new Monday night Comedy Block kicks off Feb. 7 with the series premiere of MR. SUNSHINE (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

Beginning in January, even more of CTV’s killer primetime lineup will be up and available for streaming.

For the first time in Canada, new episodes of CSI, CSI: MIAMI and CSI: NEW YORK will be available on demand online following the television debut.

It all starts with CSI: MIAMI on Monday, January 3.  The hugely successful franchise is a proven fan-favourite with the Season 9 premiere of CSI: MIAMI attracting 2.62 million viewers on CTV, and combined averaging 2.044 million viewers on TV through the first half of this broadcast season.

 

Highlights from CTV.ca’s mid-season schedule:

 

– Comedy favourites TWO AND A HALF MEN and MIKE & MOLLY are available Tuesday, Jan. 4.

– CTV’s award-winning original series FLASHPOINT makes its mid-season premiere with riveting new episodes, on demand Wednesday, Jan. 5.

– Canada’s #1 series THE BIG BANG THEORY and #1 new series $#*! MY DAD SAYS  are back with new episodes on Friday, Jan. 7.

– The highly anticipated series debut of daytime talk show THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW joins CTV.ca’s online roster on the same day of the television premiere, Monday, Jan. 10.

– Comedy hit HOT IN CLEVELAND is back online with the Season 2 premiere Tuesday, Jan. 25.

– THE LISTENER is available on demand beginning Saturday, Jan. 30. Listener.CTV.ca will also feature great extras including an intuitive problem-solving game.

– All-new comedy series MR. SUNSHINE, starring Matthew Perry and Allison Janney, joins the CTV.ca lineup on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

– LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES returns to CTV.ca with new episodes on Thursday, Feb. 10.

– With last season earning 66% more on demand views than the previous season online, THE AMAZING RACE is back Monday, Feb. 21.

As Canada’s #1 Fall schedule wraps up for the holidays, CTV announced today highlights from its blockbuster mid-season lineup featuring Canada’s most-watched television shows, highly-anticipated new series and biggest broadcasting events.

The hot-new schedule officially kicks off the week of Jan. 3 with CTV’s hilarious Monday night comedy block, including hit-series TWO AND A HALF MEN at 9 p.m. ET and MIKE & MOLLY at 9:30 p.m. ET. Then, the new comedy block expands to two-hours with the return of a hilarious second season of Betty White’s HOT IN CLEVELAND on Monday, Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. ET followed by the premiere of Matthew Perry’s new series MR. SUNSHINE on Monday, Feb. 7 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Additionally, the all-new AMERICAN IDOL returns to CTV with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET, featuring new celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler joining Randy Jackson.

CTV’s Gemini Award-winning original series FLASHPOINT makes its mid-season premiere with riveting-new episodes beginning Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 10 p.m. ET. Lauren Lee Smith (CSI) joins Season 2 of the spellbinding CTV Original Series THE LISTENER on Friday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. ET. As well, the highly-anticipated series debut of daytime talk show THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW premieres Monday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. ET on CTV. Charlie Sheen has signed a new two-year deal to make more Two and a Half Men.

The sitcom star has been in negotiations with American TV giants CBS and Warner Bros. over his involvement in the show for the past few months but reports today have confirmed the actor is staying with the show.

Sheen’s publicist released this statement regarding the deal: “To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights. I want to thank (CBS Corp. president and CEO) Les Moonves for his support.”
