America votes to eliminate two artists from each team, and the remaining 10 contestants move on to the next phase of the competition.

8:00pm – Tuesday, October 9 on CTV

The battle rounds have begun as the coaches enlist the help of the music industry’s top recording artists to offer knowledge and skill as advisers. Christina Aguilera teams up with Billie Joe Armstrong, Adam Levine with Mary J. Blige, CeeLo Green with Rob Thomas, and Blake Shelton with Michael Buble. In this phase the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a duelling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach chooses which artist from their team is the strongest, and in a new twist, also has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach. Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds where their artist proceeds to the new knockout rounds.
