Bravo! presents a new original series that uncovers the full stories behind the artists. In THE O’REGAN FILES, premiering Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT, journalist Seamus O’Regan conducts in-depth one-on-one conversations with arts luminaries and other prominent figures. Scheduled to follow ARTS & MINDS on Bravo!, each episode explores various artists’ current projects, career ideas and inspirations. The half-hour series kicks-off with the Canada’s talented jazz musician Diana Krall. Currently on tour, Krall joins O’Regan to discuss her highly successful career and her latest CD release Quiet Nights.
“The arts are a big part of my life – I’m involved with The Company Theatre in Toronto and sit on the Board of our art gallery and museum in St. John’s,” said Seamus O’Regan. “At one point many years ago, I seriously considered a full-time career in the arts as a working actor. So, it’s a privilege for me to listen to these artists and artistic minds, and this show allows viewers to spend quality time with the artists they admire on a more intimate level.”
Upcoming episodes feature one-on-one interviews with: international best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell (May 20), who chats about his latest book Outliers: The Story of Success; Canadian documentary filmmaker Ron Mann (May 27), who talks about his film career and success of Know Your Mushrooms; Tony® and Emmy Award®-winning Canadian acting legend Christopher Plummer (June 3), who tells tales from his memoir In Spite of Myself; Canadian actor/writer/director Paul Gross (June 10), who discusses inspiration behind and success of his Genie Award-winning Passchendaele; and last but not least The Right Honourable Paul Martin (June 17), who addresses his biography Hell or High Water: My Life In And Out of Politics.
