Unable to recall any events from the previous night, the son of a hotel owner turns to Nick (James Belushi) and Pete (Jerry O’Connell) for help after he awakes to find a casino host strangled to death in a hot tub. Kathy Griffin (KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST) guest stars as Vegas insult comic, Sally Kavalleri.

Nick (Jim Belushi) is summoned to defend a 21-year-old man from sexual assault charges after the victim identifies him as her attacker.

With the 2011 mid-season schedule already underway, CTV announced today the addition of CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 p.m. ET.

Starring Forest Whitaker, Janeane Garofalo and CRIMINAL MINDS star Kirsten Vangsness, the highly-anticipated new drama is a spinoff of one of Canada’s highest-rated series, CRIMINAL MINDS, which ended the fall season with an average audience of 2.6 million viewers.

The backdoor pilot for CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR, which aired April 7, won its 8 p.m. timeslot, garnering 2.1 million viewers out of simulcast.

Leading up to the CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR’s premiere, hit new series BLUE BLOODS moves to Wednesdays for a special four-week run beginning Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. ET before settling back into its regular timeslot on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Feb. 11.

Additionally, witty new series THE DEFENDERS moves to Fridays at 8 p.m. ET beginning Feb. 4. These scheduling changes affect the previously announced premiere of Season 2 of the CTV Original Series THE LISTENER.

When an entertainer’s girlfriend is charged with his murder, Nick (Jim Belushi) begrudgingly accepts Pete’s (Jerry O’Connell) request to represent the finicky mistress, Black Betty (guest star Lana Parrilla, MIAMI MEDICAL). Meanwhile, Lisa (Jurnee Smollett) battles a moral dilemma when her newest client reveals information that could be dangerous.

CTV is the only network in Canada that has seen its entire rookie slate picked up for the full season. The network confirmed today that all eight of its new series on CTV and /A\ this Fall have been given full season orders.

The confirmation comes as CTV continues to deliver four of Canada’s Top 5 new programs with break-out hits BLUE BLOODS, $#*! MY DAD SAYS, NO ORDINARY FAMILY, and THE DEFENDERS.

In addition to having four of Canada’s Top 5 new series, CTV also has more new series in the ranking of Canada’s Top 20 most-watched shows than any other network with BLUE BLOODS (#16), $#*! MY DAD SAYS (#18) and NO ORDINARY FAMILY (#19). Finally, the network lays claim to the #1 new program of the season with $#*! MY DAD SAYS for both A18-49 and A18-34.*

“As we said in June, our goal was to freshen our schedule, and it worked,” said Susanne Boyce, President, Creative, Content and Channels, CTV Inc. “These new hits represent timeslots in every hour of prime, on every night of the week.”

Meanwhile, four new series on /A\ have also been given full-season orders, including MIKE & MOLLY, NIKITA, HELLCATS and LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES. LOLA moves to CTV as of tomorrow, airing in a special 8 p.m. ET timeslot. Next week, the series settles into its regular timeslot of Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Nov. 3, following CRIMINAL MINDS at 9 p.m. ET and THE DEFENDERS at 8 p.m. ET.

CTV reinforced its  #1 schedule this Fall with a diverse mix of new series following what has become a very a successful acquisitions mission last Spring. The Fall 2010 CTV Primetime Schedule was refreshed with new programs on every night and in every timeslot from Sunday to Friday.
