“Bell Media Digital is proud to be the exclusive Canadian home of the world’s first bona fide made-for-web hit series,” said Jon Taylor, Senior Director of Content, Bell Media Digital. “This isn’t your typical web show – this is Kiefer Sutherland, John Hurt and a story and production quality you’ve only seen on TV until now. The Confession is a digital exclusive, edge-of-your-seat thriller you won’t see anywhere else – including TV!”

THE CONFESSION is an exploration of good and evil featuring a hit man played by Sutherland, and a priest played by two-time Academy-Award® Nominee John Hurt (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). The story begins on Christmas Eve, when the hit man enters a church to confess his sins to the priest. Through a series of gripping flashbacks, the confessor’s journey is revealed – laying out what has brought him to this moment and leading the audience to the dramatic ending where the man’s chances at redemption hang in the balance. While at first the confessor seems to be an evil, cold-blooded killing machine and the Priest the ultimate arbiter of good, as the series develops, it becomes clear that both characters are much more complicated than either could have ever suspected.
