Five-time Academy award-winning film, KRAMER VS KRAMER, finds Ted Kramer (Dustin Hoffman, Little Fockers), a career man who consistently puts work above his family duties and responsibilities. His wife Joanna (Meryl Streep, Julie & Julia) is fed up with her husband’s lack of interest in his family and decides to leave him. Ted is then faced with taking care of himself and their young son Billy (Justin Henry, LOST) all on his own. Once adjusted to his new lifestyle and daily responsibilities, Joanna resurfaces and wants Billy back. A fight for custody ensues when Ted refuses to give his son up.

BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES is the second installment in the original Planet of the Apes series. A second spacecraft from 20th century Earth crashes into the Forbidden Zone, carrying astronaut Brent (James Franciscus, Butterfly) on his way to rescue Taylor (Charlton Heston, Ben-Hur). Taylor has disappeared into the Forbidden Zone and with the help of Nova (Linda Harrison, Cocoon), Brent tries to find him. He finds himself stuck in the middle as he discovers a planet ruled by apes and an underground city run by telekinetic humans. Tension mounts to a climactic battle between ape and man deep in the bowels of the planet.

A CTV original film, PLAYING HOUSE, is based on Canadian author Patricia Pearson’s best-selling novel of the same name. Frances Mackenzie, (Joanne Kelly, WAREHOUSE 13) is a Canadian junior copy editor making it big in Manhattan. She has good friends, an exciting job and a hot new affair with Calvin (Lucas Bryant, HAVEN), a musician who has just gone off on a European tour. She’s then offered a dream job with provocative author, Michael Tate (Colin Ferguson, EUREKA), just as she discovers she’s pregnant. As her life spirals out of control, Frannie finds herself back at her parents’ home in Canada. She’s pregnant, jobless, and an emotional wreck but is determined to figure out her next step.

Several times burned, the handsome-but-boring Gregory believes that sex has ruined his life, and has deliberately set out to find and marry a woman with absolutely no sex appeal. Greg thinks he’s found what he’s looking for in Rose, a plain, plump English Lit professor who can’t compete with her gorgeous mother and sister.

Christie, only 16 at the time, was the one to find her father’s body when he shot himself. Now a disturbed nineteen-year-old, Christie sets out to take revenge on the uncle she deems responsible for her father’s suicide.
