Ashley Hebert’s unwillingness to admit she was in love with Brad on season 15 of The Bachelor may have cost her the final rose, but now the bouncy brunette is ready to risk it all in order to find “the one.”

This time she’s handing out the roses and with 25 suitors vying for her affections, she will have some big decisions to make. Watch as Ashley’s journey begins – with a shocking twist when the seventh edition of The Bachelorette premieres at a special time Monday, May 23, at 9pm ET/PT (8CT, 10MT) on Citytv (s/ABC). The Bachelorette will return to its regular time Monday, May 30 at 8pm ET/PT (7CT, 9MT).

The drama begins immediately on the season premiere episode when Chris Harrison discovers that Ashley already knows about one of the men, Bentley, before meeting him. A former Bachelor cast member warned her that Bentley might be there for the wrong reasons.A Wall Street banker, Ames, is right on the money when he offers Ashley a pair of tickets to the ballet. Ben F., a winemaker who knows his way around fine wines, pours a glass for Ashley from her own special vintage that he created. Meanwhile Jeff, a mysterious masked bachelor who wants to be known for more than his pretty face attempts to draw all of Ashley’s attention. When Bentley finally arrives, Ashley starts off being cynical, but is blown away by how attractive and charming he is.

Once inside, the competition between the men begins. Ben C., an attorney, makes his case by communicating a romantic message to Ashley from across the room on giant cue cards. From behind his mask, Jeff explains that he wants her to get to get to know the person he is on the inside. Then, Mike has a special song for the Bachelorette and starts to accompany himself on his guitar. Tensions mount and sparks fly as the bachelors vie for the first impression rose. A former contestant on the reality show The Bachelorette has been found dead in California.

The body of Julien Hug, who featured on Canadian Jillian Harris’ season of the reality show, was found in a remote area off State Route 74 near Riverside, CA.

Hug was among the contestants who received a rose on the opening night of the competition before being let go by Harris on the second episode.

“I am completely heartbroken for the Hug family, and my whole heart goes out to them today as they mourn a precious life that ended far too soon,” Harris said in a statement. “It’s very difficult to find the words to express my condolences, but I will always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed.”

Fellow contestant Kiptyn Locke said: “[Julien was] one of the most positive, standout people I have met.

“He was always trying to help other people. From the very first time I met him, he was just a very selfless guy.”

Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Melissa Nieburger told local papers that Hug’s body was discovered in a remote area which you would need to hike to get to.

There is no news yet on the cause of death.
