In the season finale of TEEN MOM, Amber and Gary attempt to get the no-contact order lifted, while Maci tries to cut Ryan out of her life. Farrah is forced to make an unexpected choice about moving away, and Butch moves in with Catelynn and Tyler.

Maci and Ryan argue over who has rights to Bentley on his birthday, and Amber breaks down over being separated from Leah on Halloween. Farrah struggles to spend time with Sophia while finishing her last remaining school credits, and Catelynn and Tyler look for jobs.

As if TEEN MOM’s Maci, Farrah, Amber, and Catelynn didn’t already face big challenges as young moms, Season 3 throws many more intense challenges their way. The new season has the girls dealing with marriage, family support, adoption, finances, and trying to hold down a job, all while trying to balance school, motherhood and dreams they once had.

Four teenage mothers provide unprecedented access to their challenges with parenthood in docu-series TEEN MOM 2, premiering Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 10 pm ET/PT on MTV. The new season follows Chelsea, Jenelle, Kailyn, and Leah who were featured on the second season of the popular 16 AND PREGNANT. The series is told first hand by each girl, and goes inside the harsh realities, difficult relationships, and tough choices these young moms make as they strive to give their children the best life possible. A proven hit with audiences, Season 1 of TEEN MOM was split into two parts, the first premiering in December 2009 and the second in July 2010. Audiences were drawn in by moms Maci, Farrah, Catelynn, and Amber and their stories of struggle and triumph. Both the first and second part of the season won its Tuesday 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot across all Canadian and US non-sports specialty for P12-34. Since its premiere in 2009, TEEN MOM has seen impressive audience growth in the major demos, including 53% (P2+), 44% (P12-34), and 29% (F18-34).

In TEEN MOM 2, the four new mothers deal with the hurdles and hardships of becoming a teen mom. Leah, a former cheerleader sacrificed everything her senior year in order to graduate, is faced with being a mother of twins, and coping with a life-changing health scare. Since giving birth to her son Jace, Jenelle has had a hard time facing the responsibilities of motherhood and must learn to get her life together before her son is taken away. Chelsea struggles to patch up a rocky relationship with the father of her daughter, Aubree. Kailyn, who tried to cover up her pregnancy on 16 AND PREGNANT, faces financial trouble juggling two jobs and supporting her son after being abandoned by her own mother.

In 16 AND PREGNANT, they were moms-to-be. Now, Farrah, Maci, Amber, and Catelynn are learning that older does not necessarily mean easier when facing the challenges of motherhood. The Canadian boys from THE BURIED LIFE (September 27) continue to make dreams come true as they return for Season 2 asking viewers what they want to do before they die? A surprisingly inspirational season, REAL WORLD: NEW ORLEANS comes to a close (October 6) after the cast witness and contribute to the rebirth of the city. Maci, Farrah, Catelynn and Amber close out another season of TEEN MOM (October 12), while a new crop of teens explore the beginnings of parenthood in a new season of 16 AND PREGNANT (October 13).

MTV continues to get people talking as a new season of the wildly popular 1 GIRL 5 GAYS (September 3), returns with a new batch of feisty men to dish the dirt on all things love, sex, and relationships. The hijinx and hilarity continue every Monday to Thursday on MTV LIVE, followed by MTV NEWS delivering all the entertainment highlights of the day. MTV NEWS’ Sharlene Chiu takes viewers on a tour of unexpected musical gems in various cities in the new series MTV NEWS: SHARLENE VS. (September 6).
