The latest episode of this fan favourite topped the very competitive Thursday primetime lineup both in total viewers and in the key Adult 18-49 demo.

It’s a jungle out there! Last night, Survivor continued to prove that it is a force to be reckoned with. Over 2.8 million fans tuned in to Global for the high stakes reality series Survivor: Samoa, winning its timeslot nationally and in the two major markets Toronto and Vancouver (2+ and in the key Adults 18-49 demographic).

SURVIVOR: SAMOA (8pm) DATA HIGHLIGHTS (A18-49):

· Won its timeslot nationally, and in Toronto and Vancouver
· 6% audience increase in Toronto
· Topped CTV’s CSI by 14% national 2+ and 44% in the key A18-49 demo
· Topped A Channel’s FlashForward by 286% national 2+ and 413% in the key A18-49 demo

These results are a strong indication that fans love this new season, no doubt in large part to contestant Russell Hantz, the biggest Survivor villain ever!

A colossal return with 3.1 million fans tuning in, Survivor won the night 2+ nationally and across all key demos, claiming its biggest premiere since the Panama season in Spring 2006.

· 45% growth versus last fall’s Survivor: Gabon season premiere
