George (Jeremy Sisto) panics when he thinks Tessa’s (Jane Levy) relationship with Scott Strauss (guest star Thomas McDonell, Prom) may be heating up, so he tries to keep an eye on her by planning game nights at home with her friends. Meanwhile, Tessa gets a kick out of showing off her romance to Dalia (Carly Chaikin), but, oddly enough, becomes less attracted to Scott the more time they spend together.

Later, Fred tells George that Sheila is fantasizing about him and asks him to seduce her. Meanwhile, Tessa (Jane Levy) desperately wants to impress the new poetry teacher, Ms. Evans (guest star Jackie Geary, Rizzoli & Isles) but she seems to prefer Dalia’s (Carly Chaikin) prose.

“Fire with Fire”

When Jill Werner (Gillian Vigman, The Hangover) turns to the newly single Dallas (Cheryl Hines) for inspiration and support, her marriage to Noah (Alan Tudyk) goes on the rocks. Meanwhile, Dallas begins spending a lot of time with her hot younger boyfriend, Yoni (guest star Wilmer Valderrama, That ’70s Show), which causes tension with George (Jeremy Sisto). When Dalia (Carly Chaikin ) befriends Lisa (Allie Grant) to get back at Tessa (Jane Levy) for dating Scott Strauss (guest star Thomas McDonell, Prom) -Tessa decides to take action and recruits Kimantha (Abbie Cobb) to make Dalia jealous. Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino also guest stars.

“The Body”

When Tessa (Jane Levy) realizes that she’s failing gym class, she decides to run for student body president in hopes of changing Chatswin High’s obsession with sports. Meanwhile, Ryan (Parker Young) is injured during a wrestling match and finds himself mourned by his family. George (Jeremy Sisto) takes Ryan under his wing and introduces him to people who have moved forward from setbacks.

During their trip, they run into Steven Royce (Jay Mohr) – who is supposed to be in Singapore – and they help Fred cope with his gambling problem. Meanwhile, Tessa (Jane Levy) tries to get some alone time with Scott Strauss (Thomas McDonell, Prom).

Lisa (Allie Grant) becomes deeply infatuated with Josh, and Tessa inadvertently convinces Mr. Wolfe (Rex Lee) to make a special announcement to the student body. Meanwhile, George (Jeremy Sisto) reevaluates his relationship with Dallas (Cheryl Hines).

During their fun day, they run across George (Jeremy Sisto) kissing a woman while he was supposed to be “working.” Angry with George for lying to her, Tessa confronts him during Thanksgiving dinner at the Royces.

“Charity Case”

Irritated by all the cafeteria waste at school, Tessa (Jane Levy) motivates the student body to get involved with giving back. Unfortunately, their charity of choice involves helping residents of Florida improve their complexions. When Tessa introduces a homeless transsexual to the student body as part of a lesson, they decide that Tessa is really the person in need. Meanwhile, George (Jeremy Sisto) receives a large dental bill from Noah (Alan Tudyk), which puts a strain on their relationship.

“The Nutcracker”

When Tessa (Jane Levy) overhears George (Jeremy Sisto) break up with his girlfriend, Zoe, (Gloria Votsis) on Skype, she blames herself for his failed relationship and decides that she’s going to get them back together. Unbeknownst to her, though, George is enamored with Tessa’s cute art teacher, Aimee (Ellen Woglom). Later, George decides to embrace the holiday spirit with a tree trimming party complete with his ex-girlfriend, a potential new girlfriend and the Royces, but he soon finds himself under the mistletoe with a special someone.
