Toronto, ON (October 16, 2008) – STAR WARS fans in Canada can use the force of CTV.ca to catch up with the new animated series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS from Lucasfilm Animation. Beginning today, the first two episodes, “Ambush” and “Rising Malevolence,” join the industry-leading, on-demand line-up of programs on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca. Each new episode will be available online every Monday following its broadcast on CTV, Sundays at 7 p.m. ET. The series also airs Fridays at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on SPACE.

The new, hit STAR WARS animated series takes place between STAR WARS: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Episode III Revenge of the Sith. In Episode 3, “Shadow of Malevolence” (Sunday, October 19 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV), Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano and Jedi Master Plo Koon join Anakin Skywalker as they utilizes new long-range Y-wing bombers to lead a bold strike on General Grievous’ warship and its destructive weapon.
