Noble and trustworthy Space viewers: the fifth and final season of the beloved fantasy-adventure series Merlin is about to commence.

The epic conclusion of the battle for Camelot rides onto Space’s line-up beginning Saturday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. ET. This season finds the Kingdom in the height of its ‘golden age’ with a full round table, peace across the land, and everything to lose.

Devoted to delivering programming with no limits, SPACE tears up the new year with its mid-season schedule when the flagship, daily entertainment program, INNERSPACE, moves to a new time.

In the Season 4 premiere, “The Darkest Hour (Part 1)”, Morgana, empowered with her magic stronger than ever, summons the mighty Callieach to tear open the veil between the two worlds, effectively opening the gates to the Other World. Hellish creatures pour forth, killing any who succumb to their touch. With Uther a shadow of his former self, it falls to Arthur and his loyal knights, including Lancelot to protect the kingdom. Nothing will prepare Merlin when he discovers that the only way to restore the balance requires a sacrifice of unimaginable proportions.



Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. ET

Led by former FBI agent Ben Hansen, the paranormal investigation team returns with “UFO Crash Landing/Graveyard Ghost”. In the season 2B premiere, one team goes to New Mexico to investigate a supposed UFO crash while the other travels to Nevada to look into stories of a graveyard ghost.


FACE OFF – Season 2 Premiere

Wednesday, Jan.11 at 10 p.m. ET

Season 2 of the competition/elimination series explores the world of special-effects make-up artists and the unlimited imagination that allows them to create amazing works of living art. The contestants are tasked with elaborate feature challenges including executing full body paint make up on models and creating their own horror villain. FACE OFF culminates in one winner and one grand prize that will launch a career.


BEING HUMAN (US) – Season 2 Premiere

In the season premiere episode “Turn This Mother Out”, Aidan deals with the power vacuum and orphan vampires left behind when Bishop died and Josh prepares to re-enter medical school and embrace a normal life with Nora. SPACE’s final installment of TIN MAN captured an average audience of 472,000 total viewers into its Oz-ian realm on Monday night, making it one of the highest rated nights on SPACE this year. As TIN MAN’s captivating story unfolded, 1.4 million Canadian viewers tuned in at some point over three nights, as SPACE earned the top non-sports specialty audience each night between 9-11 pm.*

TIN MAN, the latest sci fi drama series stellar run is hot on the heels of a two-week ratings high on SPACE. Also scoring big numbers was TORCHWOOD: CHILDREN OF EARTH with nearly one million viewers tuning in over its five-day run, making it the second most-watched series on SPACE this year, in the key Adult 25-54 demographic. An honourable mention goes to DOCTOR WHO: PLANET OF THE DEAD, which reached 451,000 total viewers, winning a spot among the top 10 audiences for movies on SPACE this broadcast year-to-date.*

SPACE continues to deliver the best sci fi thrills and chills with the premiere of the new CTV/SPACE drama series DEFYING GRAVITY. This provocative space thriller, starring Ron Livingston and Canadian Laura Harris, blasts off with a special two-hour premiere tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET.
