A Filmmaker On a Spiritual Quest Discovers How Weak the Flesh Can Be in the Comedic Original Documentary Sinner In Paradise, Premiering Feb. 2 on CTV
Holiness or hedonism – which would you choose? On Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker John Kastner believes he is going on a fun-filled resort vacation – until he arrives at a spiritual retreat where guests must follow a puritanical regimen. In the hilarious one-hour CTV Original Documentary Sinner in Paradise, premiering Saturday, February 2 at 7 p.m. ET (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times), Kastner sneaks away from the retreat to attend other less inhibiting resorts, discovering the pros and cons of hedonism versus holiness along the way.
In a series of comic misadventures, Kastner begins leading a double life, vacillating between the cleansing effects of the austere ashram and the more indulgent sin-obsessed resorts. Unable to keep up with both vacations, he must choose between the pleasures of the flesh and spiritual happiness.
