A young woman pleads with Sullivan and Lynch to re-open her sister’s childhood murder, fearing that the wrong men were convicted and sentenced to life in prison. As Ben starts to dig, his findings trigger troubling flashbacks of his own childhood.

A brutal sexual assault and murder has eerily similar characteristics to an earlier unsolved case Lynch worked on, and she is convinced she knows who the killer is.

Canadian actress Camille Sullivan has joined the cast of local series Rookie Blue.

The actress, who has appeared previously in a range of Canadian crime dramas including recently on Shattered, has signed on for the series’ second season.

Sullivan will take on the role of detective Jo Rosati in the 13-epiosde second run, which will be shooting in and around Toronto through to the start of 2011.

Joining the Canadian will be NCIS’s Lauren Holly who will make a guest appearance on the series which also includes Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Charlotte Sullivan, Enuka Okuma and Travis Lynch.

While two prisoners are being transferred to the city jail, one of them manages to get hold of an officer’s gun and creates a dangerous standoff. Sullivan, Lynch and Terry look for an opening to take the gunman down when a surprise visit by Lynch’s ex-boyfriend makes a very bad situation much worse.

Detectives Sullivan and Lynch go undercover to an after-hours nightclub when the heist of a high stakes poker game leaves one gunman dead and the other missing.

The detectives are called in to investigate the discovery of a woman’s body, shot at close range and left near the sea wall. Meanwhile, TC is embarrassed to learn that her covert affair with the superintendent is not a secret anymore, and Lynch’s ex-boyfriend continues his persistent efforts at reconciliation.

Wednesday, September 29 – 10pm ET/PT on Global

Ben, Lynch, Terry and Hall meet the coroner and a flurry of forensic technicians at a trailer park where five male teenagers have been discovered, all shot to death. Clues at the scene lead Ben to believe that the hit was gang-related and there may also be a witness. A search of the area uncovers a bruised, partially dressed and terrified girl, who claims not to remember anything.

Wednesday, September 22 – 10pm ET/PT on Global

Ben calls Lynch for help when he wakes up near the river bruised, bleeding and sitting in a stranger’s battered vehicle. Meanwhile, the detectives are called in to support the fed’s investigation of a recent explosion at an engineering firm which may be connected to other bombings up the coast.

Ben and Lynch investigate the violent death of a prominent Chinese doctor who may have ties to a notorious drug dealer. When a scuffle with the dealer’s bodyguard ensues, Lynch is shocked by Ben’s abrupt and violent response, unaware that the incident has caused Ben’s alternate personality, Sam, to emerge.
