Canadian series Sanctuary has gained the services of Ian Tracey for its new season.

The Canadian actor has signed on to play a Victorian villain in the show’s third season actor Robin Dunne told E! Online.

“[Ian plays an] iconic character from history and literature,” Dunne said.

He added that viewers will “love to hate” the actor’s new character.

Tracey was recently seen on Canadian screens on an episode of Rookie Blue last season, as well as popping up on Flashpoint.
