Renowned for his role on CBC’s breakout series Little Mosque on the Prairie and as host of The Great Canadian Food Show, along with successful stints on international hits 24 and Nikita, Rota returns to his culinary roots to help find an original home-cooked recipe that will whet the nations’ appetite. Recipe-to-RichesRecipe To Riches will now host an audition in Moncton, New Brunswick for its upcoming season.

The June 29 audition was previously going to be held in Charlottetown but will now take place in Moncton.

The votes are in and Canadians have chosen Brampton, Ontario’s Rick Matharu and his Butter Chicken Lasagna recipe as the best of the best on Food Network Canada’s competitive reality series Recipe to Riches.

Winning top honours and taking home $250,000, Rick prevailed over six fellow home cooks in Wednesday night’s highly-anticipated season two finale.

After seven weeks of intense competition, unexpected challenges and emotional outcomes, Food Network Canada is calling on Canadians to take their places on the Recipe to Riches judging panel.

With just seven hometown culinary heroes left standing on this season of the hit competitive reality food series, the time has come to vote for the best of the best. Starting December 5th at 12:01pm ET until December 7th at 4:59pm ET, Canadians can cast their votes online at recipetoriches.ca.
