Would you watch a reality series set on Mars?

With the Dutch planning the massive interplanetary project Mars One, it can’t be ruled out that one day we could possibly be watching shows that are filmed and set on other planets besides Earth.

What happens when people stop being polite, and start getting real? The longest (and first) reality show just got longer, MTV has officially picked up two more seasons of the series.

The show is currently in it’s 25th season (Las Vegas Redux) and currently casting for season 26. This pick up means the show will continue into it’s 28th season and most likely for many years after that. Like most shows the series is relitvely cheap to create which makes the season pick ups a no brainer for MTV.

The current season airs Wednesdays @ 10pm on MTV Canada.

Jennifer Aniston may soon be the subject of a reality TV show.

The former ‘Friends’ actress – who has dated stars including Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and Paul Sculfor since divorcing Brad Pitt – has reportedly been approached by former MTV programming president Tony DiSanto and ex-senior vice president Liz Gateley about featuring in a fly-on-the-wall series for their new production company.

A source said: “Jen’s a really private person, so everyone will want to know the real her.

“Viewers would kill to see how she goes about her day-to-day life, what she really eats and get an insight into her love life.

“Tony and Liz are renowned for their skill at making reality shows like ‘The Hills’ and ‘Jersey Shore’. They’ve been desperate to work with her but weren’t too sure what she’d say. Jen is giving it some thought though.”

According to the insider, the ‘Bounty Hunter’ star is giving the offer serious consideration, but will only agree if the show gives off the image she wants to promote.

The source added to Now magazine: “Let’s face it, her career isn’t going as well as many expected and anything Liz and Tony touch turns to gold.

“It’s just about coming up with the right show that doesn’t make her look foolish.”

Courtney Love is set to star in her own reality show.

The Hole singer and ex of Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain has reportedly signed on for her own show that will profile her life and music.

The news comes in spite of the fact Love has publically slammed celebrities in the past for selling out and broadcasting their personal lives on reality shows.

The 45-year-old says she has eventually “caved” and has agreed to do the show as she was “bored” and couldn’t find the self-help books she wanted.

Love tweeted: “I would really really like the books, because they may help me deal w crzy and also cos im bored. where the hell are the books? argh! so ive caved im producing a ‘reality show’ BUT itll be amazing and i wont be on it much (sic).”

There are no other details on the show as yet.
