PrettyLittelLiarsPretty Little Liars now has a spin-off: Ravenswood.

The new series will centre on a town called Ravenswood, which is not far from the setting of Pretty Little Liars in Rosewood, PA.

“Pretty Little Liars is brand-defining and demo-defining for ABC Family. We are proud to be able to grow the PLL franchise in two ways — both by adding additional seasons of the original and by extending the storytelling into a spin-off. Ravenswood will become another ‘must-tweet-TV’ series for us,” said ABC Family president Michael Riley.

This Halloween, MuchMusic has killer programming lined up for viewers to sink their teeth into with bloody good premieres, thrilling movies, and exclusive specials, starting Tuesday, Oct. 23.

It all kicks off with the exclusive Canadian premiere of the second annual Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars (Oct. 23). Much is also the go-to-place for the best Halloween movies, including Paranormal Activity (Oct. 26) and the Scream trilogy (Oct. 27).

Summer sparks a hot new season of premieres, as a slew of fan favourites make their return this June exclusively on MuchMusic.

The highly anticipated Season 2 premiere of the sexy, suspenseful drama TEEN WOLF returns (June 4 at 8 p.m. ET) with true love hidden in the moonlight.

The drama is far from over on the Season 3 premiere of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS now that ‘A’ has been revealed (June 5 at 8 p.m. ET).

Did Jenna’s Mom really write the care-frontation letter? Fans won’t want to miss the new season of AWKWARD (June 28 at 10:30 p.m. ET) and find out just what happened after the shocking Season 1 finale.

TEEN WOLF

MuchMusic Season 2 Premiere – Monday, June 4 at 8 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET (back-to-back episodes) (120 min.)

TEEN WOLF is the sexy, suspenseful drama about transformation set against the backdrop of contemporary teen life, with a forbidden, romantic love story at its core. When a new and far more vigilant member of the Argent family arrives in Beacon Hills after Kate’s death, Scott and Allison are forced to continue their blossoming romance in secret. At the same time, Derek Hale, obsessed with gaining strength as a new Alpha, begins recruiting for his pack, including newly-bitten Jackson. While Derek’s final goal includes bringing Scott into his fold, the Argents have begun molding Allison into a skilled werewolf hunter.  The highly anticipated second season of TEEN WOLF returns with 12, brand-new episodes.

 

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

MuchMusic Season 3 Premiere – Tuesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET (60 min.)

Season 3 kicks off six months after the discovery that Mona Vanderwall is the elusive ‘A’ that has been tormenting Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily Fields. This season reveals all kinds of secrets, including whether or not Garrett Reynolds actually killed or was involved in the murder of the girls’ former best friend and queen bee, Alison DiLaurentis. Also to be revealed this season is how Mona achieved her role as ‘A’.

 

AWKWARD

MuchMusic Season Premiere – Thursday, June 28 at 10 p.m. (30 min.)

Season 1 concluded with the stunning revelation that Jenna’s mom wrote the care-frontation letter and Jenna choosing Jake over Matty. Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of these momentous events, exploring the theme of resolution as Jenna begins to examine her relationships with her family, friends, and the two guys she’s torn between. In the course of navigating the minefields of high school, Jenna actually comes into her own and stops letting everyone else label her.

Caleb’s involvement in cracking ‘A’s’ phone has had Hanna worried from day one, and now ‘A’ is determined to punish him for it. With Officer Wilden and Garrett now circling Caleb on bogus hacking charges, Hanna and her friends are convinced that this won’t end well. Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer may soon get another example of what happens to people they involve in ‘A’s’ game. Meanwhile, Aria learns what Holden has been keeping a secret as Byron starts to question the relationship.

MuchMusic’s much-anticipated return of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS on Monday night took the #1 spot in its 8 p.m. ET timeslot amongst Teens 12-17 (89,000) across all specialty channels, making it one of the hottest shows this season among teens.

The mid-season premiere drew in a total of 241,000 viewers, an increase of 25% above the previous mid-season premiere, and up 7% among viewers 12-34 (120,000).

Versus the season-to-date average, Monday’s mid-season premiere scored 31% higher among teens, and 9% higher among total viewers. PRETTY LITTLE LIARS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on MuchMusic, and is available on-demand at muchmusic.com/prettylittleliars.

The drama continues next week when PRETTY LITTLE LIARS returns with an all-new episode, “A Hot Piece of ‘A’” (Monday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET). After their recent encounter with “A,” Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer think they may be closer than ever to figuring out the identity of “A.”

When the girls decide to enlist Caleb’s hacking skills to help with their quest, Hanna no longer wants to be a part of the plan.

The last thing Hanna wants is to get Caleb involved in something else shady or open the door to questions that Hanna can’t answer.

Once the girls realize that “A” has a helper, Hanna has no other choice. Instead of focusing on figuring out who the “helper” is, Hanna decides to put all of her efforts into throwing a surprise party for Caleb. Meanwhile, Aria and Ezra must deal with the aftermath of coming clean.

The new year is looking like a scorcher on Much as the channel announces steamy winter premieres.

Our favourite vamps are back to slay a few more times before the season comes to a close. In the episode premiering Jan.6, turmoil comes to Mystic Falls and to Stefan and Klaus. Will there be a new deal, or will a fight of epic proportion begin?

 

THE SECRET CIRCLE – *New Episodes*

Returns Fridays at 9 p.m. ET, beginning Jan. 6

The new year is more intense and powerful than last as Cassie’s powers get that much darker. Francis Balcoin, the newest ancestor in town has Cassie revealing the dark power that lives within her ancestry. The circle learns of this inherited gene and just how powerful it really is. Whatever it is Cassie has in her blood, it’s sure to cause a stir. 

 

DEGRASSI TMI – *Re-charged Season 11*

Monday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET, beginning Jan. 16

Just when viewers thought DEGRASSI had covered every teen experience imaginable, along comes DEGRASSI TMI, its sassy little sister! The “TMI” stands for “too much information” and that is exactly what is delivered. A motley team of DEGRASSI experts and ace banterers give viewers a fresh take at the award-winning show. There is trivia, insider info and random commentary, all delivered via drop-in windows during each episode. It’s kind of like watching DEGRASSI with your know-it-all BFF, who just won’t keep quiet.

 

THE L.A. COMPLEX – *New Series*

Premieres Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET

Full of new relationships, salacious temptations and make-it-or-break it decisions, THE L.A. COMPLEX’s coming-of-age dwellers grapple with life’s defining moments as they deal with the unreality of the show-biz industry. In the series premiere “Down in L.A.” after getting evicted and finding herself broke and desperate, Abby finds a place to crash at “The Lux” motel in Los Angeles. Here, she meets a group of like-minded, displaced dreamers and after a series of missed opportunities, mishaps, and a broken down vehicle, Abby starts to wonder if it’s time to go back to Toronto and give up her dreams, or if tomorrow will be her day?

 

GOSSIP GIRL – *New Episodes*

Returns Mondays at 9 p.m. ET, beginning Jan. 16

Riding in town cars with boys may sound appealing but for Chuck, Blair and her baby, it means life or death. If the newly reunited duo survive the crash, will this change the fate of their relationship? Will memories be lost?    

As Halloween draws near, MuchMusic is scaring up a wicked week of petrifying premieres, manic marathons, and spooky specials starting Monday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. ET.

Kicking things off is horror flick The Initiation of Sarah, the first of four, nightly Halloween-themed movies in the SPOOKY MOVIE OF THE WEEK MARATHON STRIP (Monday-Thursday at 6 p.m. ET).

The chills continue to spill as Much premieres two, all-new, terrifyingly good, one-hour specials DEGRASSI: NOWHERE TO RUN (Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET) and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE FIRST SECRET, (Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET).

On Halloween night, there are far more tricks than treats in the series premiere of SCARE TACTICS (Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. ET), the hidden-camera reality series hosted by Tracy Morgan. 

The fright-nights continue all week long with new-episodes of bloody-good fan-favourite VAMPIRE DIARIES (Fridays at 8 p.m. ET) followed by the bewitching series, THE SECRET CIRCLE (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET). “Nowhere to Run”

In this special one-hour thriller, Jake believes his feelings for Clare are unrequited and escapes to his cottage with friends hoping one last summer bash will help him move on. When Clare crashes the party, she is horrified by what she finds. Meanwhile, Katie returns from camp to find that Bianca spent the summer getting close to Drew’s family. Katie’s jealousy overcomes her and her schemes backfire.

 

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

MuchMusic Exclusive, All-New Special – Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET

“The First Secret”

It’s the Halloween before Alison went missing, and the only concern for Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer is to score an invite to the hottest Halloween party. But with a new girl in town to challenge Ali for Queen Bee dominance, the possibility of Spencer losing the election for class president, and a shocking revelation for Aria about her father, there may be more to worry about this Halloween than finding the perfect costume. With all of the tricks and treats floating around Rosewood, there may be something more sinister waiting out there for Ali and her best friends.

 

VAMPIRE DIARIES

“Ghost World”

As Mystic Falls prepares to celebrate the traditional Illumination Night, the town is invaded by spirits of the dead. After a particularly violent encounter with an angry spirit, Damon asks Bonnie to find the reason behind the ghosts’ surprising power. Elena convinces Jeremy to use his connection to the other side to help her find a new way to reach Stefan leading Jeremy to a terrible choice. Finally, Alaric discovers a long-hidden clue to the past. 

 

THE SECRET CIRCLE

MuchMusic All-New Episode – Friday, Oct. 28 at 9 p.m. ET

“Masked”

Deciding the Circle needs to have a little fun, Faye convinces Cassie to throw a big Halloween party. Intent on wooing Jake back, Faye goes all out on her Halloween costume. After a fight with Diana, Adam turns to Cassie for advice. Meanwhile, some dangerous, uninvited guests set their sights on the Circle.

 

DEATH VALLEY 

MuchMusic Marathon – Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 p.m. to 12 midnight ET

DEATH VALLEY is the dark comedy that follows the cops that capture the monsters, and the camera crew that captures the cops. This ground-breaking series follows the horrific yet comedic exploits of the newly formed Undead Task Force (UTF), a division of the LAPD created to combat the emergence of monsters in the San Fernando Valley. Death Valley showcases the outrageous and courageous men and women working the toughest beat in the US: Death Valley.

 

SCARE TACTICS

MuchMusic Series Premiere – Monday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. ET

Shot entirely on location and in-studio in Toronto, actor and comedian Tracy Morgan (30 ROCK) returns as host and executive producer of this the frighteningly funny hidden-camera show. Now in its fifth season, SCARE TACTICS has friends and loved ones setting unsuspecting victims in elaborately staged and scary situations involving movie-style special effects and makeup. The horror hoaxes are skilfully designed to tap into the wildest fears of the prank’s prey. Viewers laugh along to the hilarious reactions of the series stars as they are caught off guard and on camera.

Tuesday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET on MuchMusic

In this episode, the pressure of Emily’s many secrets and lies gets to be too much for her. Hanna struggles with the prospect of losing the men her life when her father announces a wedding date, and Caleb considers escaping Rosewood before his past comes back to haunt him. Emily, Hanna, Aria, and Spencer find a piece of evidence that may have played a part in the last few moments of Alison’s life.

MuchMusic’s #1 series, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, returned to hoards of little liars with its Season 2 premiere last night.

More than 333,000 viewers tuned in to see the shocking new twist the girls are faced with, making it the most-watched episode of the series thus far and the third most-watched telecast on MuchMusic this broadcast year to date amongst P2+ and P12-34 audiences.

The episode was the #1 program yesterday on Specialty channels in Canada for P12-34 (173,000). PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is available on-demand at muchmusic.com/prettylittleliars and also on the brand new channel – MuchHD.

The drama continues next week when PRETTY LITTLE LIARS returns with an all-new episode, Tuesday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET on MuchMusic. The episode titled “The Goodbye Look” has the girls forced to go their separate ways for a bit, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer need each other now more than ever. Emily struggles with her family’s impending move to Texas, but when a college athletic scout approaches her after a swim meet, she sees an opportunity that could keep her in Rosewood. Hanna’s father returns to town; with her friends at arm’s length, will she forgive Mona so she has someone to lean on? While Spencer tries to be supportive of Toby’s new plans to free himself of his family and Rosewood. Meanwhile, on the eve of Ezra’s last day at Rosewood High, he begs Aria to meet him so they can work things out. Aria, on the other hand, is not so sure there’s anything left to say. But is she really ready to say goodbye to Mr. Fitz for good?

Everyone’s favourite little Liars return to MuchMusic this summer!

Season 2 of the breakout teen drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS makes a comeback Tuesday, June 14 at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on MuchMusic.

The season finale left viewers and the Liars in shock after their plan to reveal Alison’s killer was foiled.

Now, the new season has everyone guessing who “A” is, who really killed Alison, and what will be thrown at Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily next.* Fans can also catch up on episodes they miss on muchmusic.com.

The lies, sneaking around, and drama continue in the sophomore season of the popular mystery drama. With Ian’s (Ryan Merriman) body missing, the entire town of Rosewood is questioning exactly what happened at the church.

In the season premiere, “It’s Alive”, Emily (Canadian, Shay Mitchell), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) have a lot of explaining to do. Left without knowing what to believe, the girls’ parents enlist the help of a therapist to get them to open up, but with everyone threatened by “A’s” watchful eye, no one is sure it can help.

Meanwhile, love is on the rocks for the girls when Spencer is forbidden to see Toby (Keegan Allen), Aria cools things off with Ezra (Ian Harding), and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) comes back to town for Hanna.
