UP-TO-THE-SECOND REGIONAL RESULTS FROM THE GTA AND AROUND THE PROVINCE

On Wednesday, October 10th, Global News Ontario will provide viewers with comprehensive coverage of the Ontario provincial elections in a special broadcast, “Ontario Votes 2007: Our Team. Your Decision.” from 8:30 p.m. until at least 11:30 p.m. ET. Global News will have the full story behind the results, not just on how Ontario voted but also why.

Led by anchor Leslie Roberts, the Global News team will provide up-to-the-second ballot results, in-depth analysis and insight on the major issues. Anchors Carolyn MacKenzie and Alan Carter will cover off results from the 416 and 905 areas, while Zuraidah Alman and Sean O’Shea will provide results from the other regions of the province.

In addition, panellists joining political analyst Sean Mallen in-studio to provide commentary will include:

Warren Kinsella, Liberal advisor and political consultant
Marilyn Churley, one of Ontario’s most prominent environmentalists and NDP member
Catherine Clark, political expert and television host of CPAC’s “Beyond Politics”
