NBA basketballer Mickael Pietrus has got some screen-time on NBA TV Canada this week after bombing a pre-game chat between presenters Paul Jones and Sherman Hamilton.

The Toronto Raptors player busted out some sweet dance moves behind Jones and Hamilton, who continued with their presentation despite Pietrus’s antics behind them.

Bell has announced an expansion of its sports coverage on Bell Mobile TV.

NBA TV Canada and NBA on TSN have been added to the service, giving customers access to games and original shows such as NBA game Time, Open Court and The Jump.

NBA on TSN will also allow customers to watch the NBA All0-Star Games, Playoffs, and the Finals, as well as extensive coverage of the Toronto Raptors.

Wednesday night’s Toronto Raptors’ opening game against the Indiana Pacers was watched by an average audience of 346,000 viewers – making it the most-watched Toronto Raptors game since the 2009-10 season.

Overall, according to audience data from BBM Canada, more than 1.7 million unique viewers watched some or all of Wednesday night’s match-up on TSN.

TSN is the official broadcaster of the Toronto Raptors with 47 games on TSN and TSN2 this season. The next game is Sunday, November 4 when the Raptors take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at 6 p.m. ET on TSN2. Continue reading »

The NBA brings its talents to TSN and TSN2, as the networks once again post up as the official broadcaster of the Toronto Raptors and the NBA in Canada with a 100-game package featuring 47 Raptors match-ups.

Throughout the 2012-13 season, TSN and TSN2 will also deliver a total of 53 NBA games to fans featuring U.S.-based teams.

Leading into TSN’s NBA Draft coverage, hoops fans can get a preview of the DRAFT on TSN2 with the Draft Preview Special at 6 p.m. ET and recap of the draft at 12 midnight ET with the Draft preview Special.
