Canadians love the thrill of the chase! CTV’s MISSING continues its reign as the #1 new television program of the 2011/12 season with 1.8 million viewers on Tuesday, making it the most-watched program of the night with total viewers and the key adult demos.

Now with four episodes under its belt, including two stand-alone episodes on Tuesday nights, MISSING averages 2.07 million viewers as the break-out hit of the season. 

Last night’s action-packed episode was also up 26% compared to last week’s episode and saw double digit growth – up to 50% – among the key adult demos. MISSING also performed well in the metered markets as the #1 entertainment program in Toronto with total viewers and the western markets with total viewers, A25-54, and A18-49. 

Meanwhile at 9 p.m. on CTV, THE VOICE’s first live elimination show ranked as the #2 program of the night with A18-49 and A25-54, attracting 1.14 total million viewers last night. It improved the timeslot by 34% and 27% versus last week with A18-49 and A25-54 viewers respectively. 

Overall, CTV won every hour of core-prime last night with A18-49, and A25-54. 

In next week’s new episode of MISSING entitled “The Three Bears” (Tuesday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV Mobile), Becca (Ashley Judd) takes matters into her own hands to uncover clues as to where Michael (Nick Eversman) is being kept. Missing, the #1 new series of the season moves to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CTV beginning tonight, March 27.

The blockbuster one-hour thriller leads the way for the back-to-back lineup of the season finales of Whitney at 9 p.m. and a Canuck-themed episode of Hot in Cleveland at 9:30 p.m. followed an all new episode of Unforgettable at 10 p.m.

Alex (Chris D’Elia) and Whitney (Whitney Cummings) head to City Hall to make it official, but finding out that Whitney’s driver’s license is expired sparks a chain of unusual events that interfere with their plans to wed. Whitney’s dad (guest star Peter Gallagher, THE O.C.) seemingly comes to the rescue, but it may be too late.

 

9:30 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “Elka’s Big Day” – SEASON FINALE –SPECIAL TIME

It’s Elka’s (Betty White) wedding day but Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy (Jane Leeves) and Victoria (Wendie Malick) wake up with no recollection of Elka’s bachelorette party the night before. Their house is crowded with sleeping frat boys, an iguana is loose, and worst of all, the bride is missing. Meanwhile, Joy and Victoria find out that they both got married to each other the night before in a wedding ceremony performed on Canadian soil – Ontario. Flashing back to the night before, the women must gather fractions of their memory to piece together how they got to Canada and when they lost Elka.

 

10 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “Allegiances” – NEW EPISODE

Carrie’s (Poppy Montgomery) personal and professional lives collide when her boyfriend, the son of a mob boss, is revealed to have ties to suspects in a murder investigation.

As the search for her son continues, Becca (Ashley Judd) makes a deal with the head of French Intelligence (guest star Joaquim de Almeida, Desperado). However, the agreement comes with serious moral complications for Becca.
