Homeowners know all about the renovations they want done to their homes, but in his new series Leave It To Bryan, trusted home expert Bryan Baeumler takes homeowners out of the decision process and gives them the renovation they need. Leave It To Bryan premieres on Thursday, January 5th at 10pm ET/PT on HGTV Canada.

Favourite HGTV personality Bryan Baeumler makes homeowner dreams come true – even if it’s not the dream they were expecting. After showing Bryan their homes and outlining their hopes, homeowners leave Bryan with their budget – and their house – for him to make the final decision on the reno. Will they return to a stainless steel kitchen or a functional new roof? A storage-laden bathroom or a living room fit to entertain?

“Bryan Baeumler is a hugely popular personality on HGTV. Leave It To Bryan showcases the relationships he makes with homeowners as he navigates their renovation,” says Barb Williams, Senior Vice President of Content, Shaw Media. “Tensions are bound to rise when Bryan proves that he knows their needs better than they do.”

In the first episode, homeowners Kirsi and Brian want a new kitchen for their hundred-year-old home – something Kirsi has been dreaming about since they moved in. Once Bryan has a look at the house, he discovers a half-renovated bathroom, a leaky roof with shingles missing, and old windows that weren’t installed properly in addition to a kitchen that needs updating. With big dreams and a limited budget, the couple puts their trust in Bryan as he picks a renovation that will hopefully show them the bigger picture on home priorities.
