Jeff Goldblum is understood to be exiting Law & Order: Criminal Intent, according to reports from Variety.

The actor is said to be leaving the show due to the uncertainties over the show’s future.

With its ninth season wrapping recently, a tenth is still yet to be confirmed and it is believed Goldblum is leaving indefinitely.

Goldblum’s character, Detective Zach Nicols, was boosted to the lead role following the departure of Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian last year.
