Corus Entertainment’s Sundance Channel (Canada) and GREY GOOSE ENTERTAINMENT® offers audiences the exclusive Canadian premiere of season 5 of Iconoclasts, the critically acclaimed series that brings together iconic names in film, food, science and culture, offering intimate and unpredictable portraits of creative visionaries whose passion for what they do has transformed our culture.

Airing day-and-date with the U.S., the first episode of the new season premieres Saturday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET and will feature Charlize Theron and Jane Goodall.

In each hour-long episode of the six-part series, Iconoclasts pairs two creative visionaries from different fields who come together to discuss their lives, influences, passions and creative processes.

The episodes will include: Academy Award®-winning actress Charlize Theron (Monster, North Country, The Cider House Rules) and award-winning primatologist Jane Goodall; Grammy Award®-winning musician Lenny Kravitz and Academy Award®-nominated film director and producer Lee Daniels (Precious, Monster’s Ball); Tony Award®-winning actor Hugh Jackman (X-Men, Australia, The Boy from Oz) and world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; Academy Award®-winning actress Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, The Aviator, I’m Not There) and prominent professor and climate-change scientist Tim Flannery; two-time MVP NBA player Steve Nash and Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Parenthood); and illusionist David Blaine and artist Chuck Close.

In a fresh and original approach to the traditional interview program format, Iconoclasts captures the essence of these headline-makers through the eyes of the creative innovators who respect and admire them the most. During the segments, the pairs visit each other’s worlds and share their inspirations and motivations that have made them who they are today.
