When Ted’s (Josh Radnor) new friendship with Zoey (guest star Jennifer Morrison, House) tests the theory that men and married women can’t be friends, he invites her husband, “The Captain,” (guest star Kyle MacLachlan, Desperate Housewives) to hang out with them. Meanwhile, Marshall (Jason Segal) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) decide to spend alone time together.

Canadian Comedian, Jon Dore, will make his first appearance on Late Night American TV with a key visit to tonight’s Conan show. Jon will have a perform a stand-up routine for Conan’s faithful audience, no sit down interview.

You may remember Jon from his stint on the first couple of seasons of Canadian Idol. From there he parlayed his success into his own show on the Comedy Network called the Jon Dore Television show. It lasted two seasons. Shortly after filming the season finale (which would become series) Jon moved to LA to try his act on the comedy circuit.

Since moving to LA he secured a guest-starring role as a zoo keeper on How I Met Your Mother.

Citytv reveals primetime premiere dates for Fall 2010-11. New series debuts include the highly anticipated The Event, Chase, Undercovers and The Whole Truth, during the week of September 20. New seasons of returning favourites this Fall include hit series Fringe (new to Citytv), Parenthood and Modern Family.
