Toronto, Ontario (January 15, 2008) – Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s newest TV show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! is absurd, weird and well… flat-out nutzo! A follow-up to their cult-fave Tom Goes to the Mayor, which aired on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block, the Awesome Show is a truly wild, unpredictable, 15-minute hodgepodge of individual creativity – aka stuff. Guest starring “Weird Al” Yankovic, John C. Reilly, Zack Galifianakis, David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, among others, the fast-paced, live-action sketch comedy combines animation, mock commercials and television satire all the while stretching the concept of taboo to the breaking point. Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! will air Tuesdays at 10:40 p.m. ET/PT, beginning January 22 immediately after the Season 1 premiere of Extras (10 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on The Comedy Network.

Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! premiered in the U.S. last February on the Cartoon Network’s late-night Adult Swim programming block and has attracted a rabid following of fans and admirers. The 15-minute, 10-part series is jammed-packed with hilarious parodies and shocking skits that resemble an out-of-control cable access channel. In the premiere episode, Tim’s dad sends Eric a gift basket wishing him luck on the new show, Leif and C Boy square off in a hackey sack championship, Dr. Steve Brule (played by John C. Reilly) offers a report on the health benefits of fruits and vegetables, Bob Odenkirk makes a cameo appearance in a commercial for “B’Owl,” a new toy that combines a bat with an owl and Tim makes a call to pest control about his bees and his disappointing son, Spraynard Krugar.

Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim met in a comedy troupe the summer before attending Temple University in Philadelphia and quickly discovered that they shared the same, self-described “left-of-centre” sense of humour. The duo collaborated as creators, writers, and stars of Tom Goes to the Mayor . They mailed an early version of the show to comedian Bob Odenkirk, who agreed to take on the project as the executive producer of the series and sold it to Cartoon Network. Heidecker and Wareheim now produce a weekly online show, Tim and Eric Nite Live, and their new project, Steven & Stephen, an animated show about twins conjoined at the penis, is set to premiere this year on Comedy Central.

Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim are co-creators, co-writers and co-stars of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
