Ghost Hunters

This Halloween the dead are live as SPACE takes viewers on the ultimate ghost hunt in GHOST HUNTERS LIVE, premiering Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m. ET. Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, from the popular series GHOST HUNTERS, go live in a seven-hour investigation of supposed paranormal activity at Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island, Delaware. GHOST HUNTERS LIVE marks the first time SPACE and American network, The Sci Fi Channel, have simulcast a live event.

The live, Halloween special is hosted by Destination Truth’s Josh Gates and features special guest investigators Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary) and Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan). Amateur ghost hunters can participate at home by watching the telecast in search for paranormal activity missed by the team at Fort Delaware. They then can alert Jason, Grant and the team about sightings by logging onto the SPACE website, www.spacecast.com, to send them an instant report of their findings.

The scene of the event, Fort Delaware, was previously investigated by the Ghost Hunters in one of the most jolting and revealing episodes of GHOST HUNTERS Season 4.

Commonly referred to as the “Black Hole”, Fort Delaware was used as a POW camp during the Civil War and housed over 33,000 Confederate soldiers. Ravaged by torture and epidemics, nearly 2,400 died on the island. It is believed that their restless spirits have never left.

During the hunt, SPACE’s homegrown, weekly flagship genre entertainment news show THE CIRCUIT reports from the offices of Canadian horror magazine Rue Morgue in search of homegrown paranormal activity. Rue Morgue is based out of a formal funeral home in Toronto.
