Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) and Astral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) are pleased to unveil the original series, miniseries, specials and documentaries that have been greenlit for production in 2012/2013.

Funny, fearless comedy is returning to HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Astral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) this February, with Season 2 of Funny as Hell, a no-holds-barred original stand-up comedy series from The Movie Network and Movie Central, and produced by Just For Laughs Television.

The eight-part, half-hour, Gemini-award winning series was taped in front of a live audience at the 2011 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and features bold, uncensored comedy from some of today’s fastest rising stars. Funny as Hell Season 2 premieres Friday, February 24 at 9 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada.

Hosted by homegrown comic Jon Dore, Funny as Hell brings audiences more of the edgy, politically-incorrect comedy, music and digital shorts that made them howl in Season 1.
