Ready to represent the storied Northeast fishing community of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Gus (the captain), Nino (the engineer) and Joe (the deckhand) are three old-school Italian fishermen with small town values and big time hearts. Bonded together by blood (Gus and Nino are brothers, Joe is their cousin), they also work side by side as crewmates aboard the Captain Dominic. Full of high adventure and human drama, the 10-part series from Mark Burnett premieres Tuesday, June 21 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times):

Hosted by zoologist and all-around risk taker, Sarnia, Ontario native Dave Salmoni (WORLD’S DEADLIEST TOWNS), each week a new stage of the expedition will be revealed to the teams.

Will they crumble under the pressure of having to think clearly in the wilds of the great outdoors, or will they find a way to work together to complete the expedition?

After 10 stunning legs of competition with drama, comedy and great characters, one team will cross the finish line first to claim victory. Each winning team member will receive $50,000 ($150,000 total for the team) as well a new Ford Explorer.

ADDENDUM

New and returning summer series unfold chronologically as follows (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times):

NEW SERIES

LOVE IN THE WILD – Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning June 1

Putting relationships to the ultimate test, LOVE IN THE WILD pairs 10 single men with 10 single women, for a romantic adventure unlike anything they could have ever imagined. Hosted by Darren McMullen (Australian MINUTE TO WIN IT), viewers meet 20 singles who have tried it all – speed-dating, blind-dating, Internet dating –  and now, they head deep into the remote jungles of Costa Rica to see if they can find that special someone they’ve been looking for. Each episode pairs two of the singles for an exhilarating challenge that will push their bodies and emotions to the limit. From paddling down crocodile-ridden waters, to navigating bat-infested caves, couples must compete and unite to be the last ones standing – even if it means hanging 200 feet above one of the country’s most fearsome waterfalls. Love is an adventure, after all, and LOVE IN THE WILD puts relationships to the ultimate test.

EXPEDITION IMPOSSIBLE – Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET beginning June 21

Adventurer, zoologist and all-around risk taker, Sarnia, Ontario native Dave Salmoni (WORLD’S DEADLIEST TOWNS) hosts Mark Burnett’s newest reality series. Shot in the Kingdom of Morocco and featuring high adventure and human drama reminiscent of Burnett’s ECO-CHALLENGE, EXPEDITION IMPOSSIBLE showcases 13 teams of three, racing on an expedition across vast deserts, over snow capped mountains and through raging rivers. As a new stage of the expedition is revealed to the teams each week, will they crumble under the pressure of having to think clearly in the wilds of the great outdoors, or will they find a way to work together to complete their adventures? After 10 stunning and challenging legs of competition, one team will cross the finish line first to claim victory.

THE BORGIAS – Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning June 21

After burning up the screen on Bravo! this spring, THE BORGIAS, which was called an “absolutely captivating drama”  by The Globe and Mail, makes its world broadcast premiere on CTV. From Academy Award®-winner Neil Jordan (The Crying Game), this international co-production (Canada/Hungary/Ireland) is the compelling and unflinching saga of one of the most remarkable and notorious families in history. Set in 15th century Italy at the height of the Renaissance and based on real characters and events, THE BORGIAS chronicles the corrupt rise and ruthless consolidation of power by patriarch Rodrigo Borgia (Academy Award®-winner Jeremy Irons, Kingdom of Heaven, Being Julia), who stops at nothing to control the papal throne and feed his insatiable ambition for influence and wealth for himself and his family. Starring alongside Irons are Canadians Colm Feore (FLASHPOINT, 24) as his arch nemesis, Cardinal Della Rovere, and breakout star François Arnaud (J’ai tué ma mère) as Rodrigo’s ruthless son Cesare.

TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN – Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET beginning July 28

The new heart-stopping competition series, TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN, pits everyday people against seasoned professionals as they play cat and mouse in their attempt to steal away the big $100,000 prize. From executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the series combines all the elements of an edge-of-your-seat spy thriller with the excitement of rooting for real people in different locales trying to outwit their professional counterparts. The six-episode unscripted series will take reality television to a whole new level of exhilaration.
