Entourage

Entourage have confirmed more guest appearances for the upcoming season.

Musicians Lenny Kravitz and P Diddy will both have guest spots on the drama series in its seventh season.

Kravitz will play himself in an episode where he is a client of Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven).

Series creator Doug Ellin says: “He’s got to get Lenny to do a movie so someone else will do something for him.”

Diddy will appear alongside exec producer Mark Wahlberg in one of the actor’s token golf course scenes.

“Turtle [Jerry Ferrara] is starting a business, and he’s trying to get them to invest in it,” Ellin said.

“He’s going to a lot of people about this investment.”

The episode will screen in August.

With a new season of Entourage coming later this month, here’s a little something to make you look forward to it even more.

The seventh season of Entourage hits screens this June and HBO has released the first promo poster to get the buzz started.

New seasons of HBO’s hit comedy series Hung and Entourage join this summer’s must-see Sunday night line-up alongside True Blood on HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) and Astral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada).

Ray Drecker’s side business is on the rise in the second season of Hung, premiering at 10 p.m. on Sunday June 27, followed by the season 7 premiere of Entourage at 10:30 p.m.

From creators Colette Burson and Dmitry Lipkin (The Riches), the second season of HBO’s half-hour comedy Hung returns to the still recession-plagued suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. As a way of survival, divorced teacher/coach Ray Drecker (Thomas Jane) continues his unorthodox efforts to generate extra cash by selling his services as a romantic companion to lonely women.

At the end of the first season, Ray and his unlikely pimp, Tanya Skagle (Jane Adams), watched their entrepreneurial venture grow a new head after slick “life coach” Lenore Bernard (Rebecca Creskoff) talked Ray into making her a co-pimp.

While Lenore continues to push a debonair version of hooker Ray on her upscale clients, Tanya looks to prove, to both Ray and herself, that she has the “right stuff” when it comes to being a successful, and far more ethical, pimp. To complicate matters, Ray’s ex-wife, Jessica Haxon (Anne Heche), already filled with doubts about her marriage is reeling from her no-show gigolo that Lenore set up at the end of last season.

Hollywood’s favourite insider crew returns when the seventh season of Entourage premieres on HBO Canada. Executive produced by Mark Wahlberg and created by Doug Ellin, HBO’s hit half-hour comedy series follows the day-to-day life of young Hollywood star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), and the three buddies he brought along from their hometown in Queens, New York.

At the start of the new season, following an accident during the filming of his latest action flick, Vincent develops a new lease on life that makes him even more difficult to manage for Eric (Kevin Connolly), Vince’s manager and lifelong friend.

Meanwhile, his agent Ari Gold (Golden Globe® and three-time Emmy®-winner Jeremy Piven) now heads an entertainment-agency behemoth, and half-brother/actor Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) must decide which steps to take to map out their own futures. Returning this season as series regulars are Eric’s co-worker Scott Lavin (Scott Caan) and Eric’s new fiancé Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui).

The brains behind hit series Entourage are working on a new female-oriented series.

Executive producers Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson are closing in on a deal with HBO for the show which would focus on a group of female friends looking for love in LA.

Sources are claiming the outline for the show is less Hollywood oriented as Entourage, therefore a ‘girls Entourage’ label shouldn’t be placed on the project just yet.

On board are newcomer writers Leah Rachel and Emily Montague.

Meanwhile, the seventh season of Entourage hits screens later this year.

Adult film actress Sacha Grey has been announced as a guest star on the upcoming season of Entourage.

Grey is set to play a major role in the seventh season of the HBO dramedy as a love interest for Adrian Grenier’s Vincent Chase.

22-year-old Grey recently crossed over to mainstream acting with a major role in Steven Soderbergh’s 2009 film The Girlfriend Experience.

Entourage creator Doug Ellin explains: “I think Sasha’s going to have a very successful transition,” he said. “Sasha’s the biggest porn star in the world right now, and when Soderbergh casts her as the lead of his movie, I take notice. I wouldn’t have done this storyline if Sasha passed. Luckily she was okay with doing it.”

Grey will appear as herself in the fifth episode with Vince and stay in the role for the rest of the season.

“I think they’re going to have a very interesting relationship,” Ellin adds.

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has been signed for a further three years at HBO.

The creator/exec producer will pocket a handsome eight-figure sum to stay at the network where he has worked on successful dramedy Entourage.

The seventh season of the show is covered in the deal as well as further development projects including a comedy with writer Ben Schwerin which focuses on a young man employed by his idol, an ex president of the United States.
