9:30 – 10 p.m. ET/PT – Drawn Together – “American Idol Parody Clip Show”

The housemates look back at the season and compete to stay in the house in an American Idol type competition, while they are forced to sing some show favorites with some new twists.

Best described as The Real World meets South Park, Drawn Together returns with more bawdy behaviour in the salaciously delicious third season of TV’s first animated “reality” series, premiering Sunday, October 21 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on The Comedy Network. Sparks fly in 14, all-new, half-hour episodes when eight animated characters from vastly different reaches of the cartoon universe agree to live in a lavish mansion and have their lives taped for the entire world to see.

On Drawn Together, the characters leave their animated reality and become housemates in a new world where their cartoon universes collide with a bang, combining different styles of animation and different personalities all “drawn together.” Will the housemates rise above their many differences and come together as a family? Of course not – but it’s certainly fun to watch them try!

The hilarious housemates include:

-Captain Hero: a womanizer, reminiscent of the superheroes of the 1970s

-Princess Clara: a 20-year-old, bigoted, fairy-tale princess

-Toot: a self-mutilated, pudgy pin-up from the 1920s

-Foxxy Love: a sexy, mystery-solving musician with a delicious booty

-Spanky Ham: a foul-mouthed, internet-downloaded pig

-Ling-Ling: an angry, Asian trading-card creature

-Wooldoor-Sockbat: a wacky Saturday morning whatchamacallit

-Xandir: a young adventurer with a questionable love for all things fabulous

In the third season premiere, “Freaks & Greeks,” Captain Hero tries to rush his neighbour’s house when he mistakes a family of Greek immigrants for a Greek fraternity. Meanwhile, Ling-Ling’s sickly father moves into the Drawn Together house and falls in love with Toot. The second episode, “Wooldoor Sockbat’s Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable,” features the premiere of Wooldoor’s new children’s TV show, but Clara is certain that it will turn kids gay faster than Tinky-Winky and Sponge Bob combined.

Drawn traditionally and in 2-D digital ink and paint animation, Drawn Together first premiered in 2004 on Comedy Central and is seen exclusively in Canada on The Comedy Network.
