The Season 6A finale of DOCTOR WHO, “A Good Man Goes To War”, is airing this Saturday June 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Space.

When Amy is kidnapped as bait in a trap, the Doctor declares war on those responsible and assembles an army of allies to recover her.  Meanwhile, River realizes that the Doctor’s darkest hour has come and she must reveal her greatest secret to the Time Lord.

The show has seen an incredible 26% audience increase over last season and should it continue to attract the same audience level, the fan favourite will become the top SPACE series of all time!

The Jennifer Ganger and her fellows seek revenge on their human counterparts and stage a revolution against them. The Doctor (Matt Smith) tries to negotiate a truce between the two sides, a situation complicated by the fact that a Ganger of himself now exists.

The new season of DOCTOR WHO continues to captivate audiences, with Saturday night’s episode luring a whopping 523,000 total viewers to SPACE. With an updated season average of 524,000 viewers, DOCTOR WHO is now the #2 most-watched specialty program of the year in Canada, behind Discovery Channel’s CANADA’S WORST DRIVER.

DOCTOR WHO has moved ahead of AMERICAN PICKERS and PAWN STARS (History) for this broadcast year in total viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demo. The Doctor’s charms have resonated with the ladies as well, resulting in a Top 8 position for the program among Females 25-54.

Overall, SPACE ranks in the Top 10 for every key demo among all non-sports specialty networks (Total Viewers, Adults, Women and Men), and is a Top 5 channel among Adults 25-54.

In the next episode of DOCTOR WHO, “The Rebel Flesh”, airing Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on SPACE, The Doctor lands in a futuristic factory where he finds humans using clones to perform dangerous tasks.

DOCTOR WHO and his TARDIS broke through barriers Saturday night on SPACE, drawing a record 538,000 total viewers for the Season 6 premiere, “The Impossible Astronaut”.

Up 3% over the previous most-watched DOCTOR WHO episode, DOCTOR WHO is now the most-watched SPACE broadcast this year.

The premiere also broke records among several key demographics including Adults 18-49 (up 7% with 292,000 viewers); Women 25-54 (up 50% with 111,000 viewers); and Women 18-49 (up 62% with 114,000 viewers).*

The first of a two-part season opener, “The Impossible Astronaut” left viewers on the edge of their seats as The Doctor and his crew encountered one of the most terrifying alien invaders since the Weeping Angels. In the upcoming episode “Day of the Moon”, airing this Saturday at 8 pm ET, The Doctor must escape the perfect prison and along with Amy, Rory and River, lead a revolution against them.

Trust him, he’s The Doctor. As announced last night on INNERSPACE, DOCTOR WHO returns for another round of heart-pounding adventure with the watch-with-the-world Season 6 premiere Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. ET, only on SPACE.

The recharged DOCTOR WHO series sees the return of Matt Smith as 11th Timelord and Karen Gillan as his feisty partner in time, Amy Pond. Behind the scenes, award-winning writer Steven Moffat, returns as the lead writer and executive producer. 

Before the new season takes off, fans can travel back in time and catch up on all their favourite episodes with the DOCTOR WHO marathon. Beginning Thursday, April 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, SPACE transports viewers back in time with the final four DOCTOR WHO specials, starring David Tennant. Then SPACE reboots Season 5 starting Friday, April 22 at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT, leading up to the Season 6 premiere on April 23, followed by the Christmas specials, Sunday, April 24 starting at 12:05 p.m. ET. Throughout Season 5 of DOCTOR WHO, critics and die-hard fans raved about the new incarnation of this iconic franchise and new bow-tie-wearing Doctor. Each week, an average of 391,000 viewers were kept on the edge of their seats, often beating out competing Canadian conventional and specialty networks in the timeslot.*

In the two-part Season 6 premiere beginning on April 23, The Doctor, Amy and Rory travel to 1960s America, taking them from the Utah desert to the Oval office. The season was filmed in North America for the first time in series history. Alex Kingston (ER) reprises her role as River Song, while Mark Sheppard (SUPERNATURAL) guest stars as Canton.

The Doctor finds his TARDIS colliding with a spaceship based on the RMS Titanic during a Christmas party. With the help of a waitress named Astrid, the Doctor must take on the race as the lives of the Titanic crew and those on Earth are in danger.
