Degrassi-GradMuchMusic is celebrating the return of Degrassi this summer with its fourth annual screening at Much HQ in downtown Toronto.

Cast members Munro Chambers, Melinda Shanker and Jessica Tyler will be among the guests attending the event alongside the new faces of Ana Golja, Andre Kim and Eric Osborne.

The Much parking lot opens to fans who have RSVP’d for the event at 5 p.m. ET. Anyone with a MuchCloser account can RSVP for the screening event here. ‘The Time of My Life’ will see several beloved characters depart the series, including Fiona Coyne (Annie Clark) and Bianca DeSousa (Alicia Josipovic).

But viewers won’t have to wait long to catch up with the remaining DEGRASSI students! With three fresh, new faces – the fierce and fashion-forward Zoë Rivas (Ana Golja), athlete and former prep-school kid Miles Hollingsworth III (Eric Osborne), and sarcastic wingman Winston “Chewy” Chu (Andre Kim) – the summer chapter of DEGRASSI begins July 11 in special, hour-long episode that kicks off a brand-new timeslot, Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. Actress Alex Steele has confirmed that she will moving on from the teen series to pursue other opportunities.

Drake has returned to his Degrassi roots. Well, sort of.

The rapper has re-united with a former Degrassi cast-mate in Shane Kippel, who played Gavin “Spinner” Mason on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Kippel tweeted a photo of the pair this week with the caption: “The reunion with @Drake. Congrats to @905arcane, and thanks to @ryanpvpkotd and @scottjacksonbb for the sik time. KOTD”

Drake played the role of Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi, appearing in a total of 138 episodes.

Edmonton-born Fox grabbed his second nomination in as many years for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his work in The Good Wife as well as a guest actor nod for his Curb Your Enthusiasm appearance.

Chaz Bono is currently in Toronto to shoot scenes for a guest appearance on Canadian teen series Degrassi.

The transgender son of Cher, who competed on Dancing with the Stars recently, has been filming alongside the show’s transgender character, Adam.

Bono says that teen these days have so much more support available to them than he did when he was younger.
