Last spring, rock star designer and carpenter Paul Lafrance and his cutting edge crew started a mission to reinvigorate outdoor spaces in the first season of Decked Out, and backyards haven’t been the same since.
The warm weather is back again and with it comes HGTV’s top spring series showcasing Paul and his signature attitude as he flexes his creative muscle to build even more impressive and intricate outdoor decks.
The second season of Decked Out premieres with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday April 24 at 10pm ET/PT on HGTV Canada.
Decked Out isn’t about average backyard makeovers – Paul tackles each family’s basic backyard to create a deck-tacular dream oasis. This season not only boasts grander designs featuring multi-level decks, a cedar-lined three-season room and seamless transitions from deck to yard, but also bigger personalities, frustrating challenges and hilarious on-site pranks.
“The decks we build go beyond a functional purpose, they are backyard retreats that rival family cottages,” says Paul Lafrance, host of Decked Out. “I love inspiring people to add to their own backyard spaces, while of course having fun with my crew along the way.”
Paul Lafrance runs his own successful boutique construction company, and is known for his creative edge and energy. Decked Out also features his crew of hip and talented builders, landscaper Jeff Sarty and designer Heidi Richter. This imaginative, wacky and no-holds-barred team is changing the look of backyards everywhere – so prepare to get Decked Out.
