The hit half-hour comedy draws on the experiences of Hollywood insiders and tells the story of four long-time buddies from Queens who share the highs and lows of life in the fast lane of Hollywood. Starring Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and three-time Emmy®-winner Jeremy Piven.

New episodes of True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage will be broadcast in High Definition, and available on demand following their network premieres. In Eastern Canada the series will be available via HBO Canada OnLine with Rogers, Bell TV and Videotron and in Western Canada via HBO Canada Online with Shaw Video On Demand, Shaw Direct Video On Demand and Bell TV Online.

Comedian Ricky Gervais has signed on for a role in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The Office creator will appear in the comedy series playing himself in the next season set for 2011.

Also, Gervais’ new comedy project with Stephen Merchant Life’s Too Short, examining the life of a dwarf in the entertainment business, may also be picked up by HBO who screens Curb in the US.

His Ricky Gervais Show is currently airing on the channel at the moment with a second season given the go-ahead already.

“This is what it’s all about,” Gervais told Daily Variety. “There’s nothing better than me and Steve coming up with ideas. It’s great to do a movie, do ‘The Simpsons’ and an awards show, but I don’t get that adrenaline rush in trying make Steve laugh. This is our DNA.”

“Curb Your Enthusiasm”
Premieres Monday, September 29th – 10pm ET/ 10pm CT/ 10pm MT/ 10pm PT

Larry David has it all – money, security, famous friends, a nurturing wife and a fabulous Hollywood home. So why is he so intent on making a complete mess out of his life? Just because you’ve ‘made it’ doesn’t mean you’ve got it made.

Each half-hour episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” chronicles David at home, at work and around Hollywood, as he gets into predicaments with fictional and real-life personalities. Even the most trivial of details in David’s life can lead to a “Murphy’s Law” chain of hilarious misfortune.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” is shot without a script; the cast which includes Jeff Garlin (as manager Jeff Greene) and Cheryl Hines (as wife Cheryl) along with various guest celebrities playing themselves or character roles, are given scene outlines and often improvise lines as they go.

The result is an unpredictable, witty and fresh comedy that’s unlike anything else on TV. Watch “Curb Your Enthusiasm” in stripped syndication starting Monday, September 29th, on Citytv.
