cougar-town-2013Cougar Town has been renewed for another season.

The Courtenay Cox comedy series will return for a fifth season after its new American network TBS gave the greenlight.

“Cougar Town has been everything we hoped it would be: a smart, big-hearted, laugh-out-loud comedy that shines a bright light on the TBS brand,” said Michael Wright, TBS president of programming, in a statement.

Go OnA Friends reunion of sorts will take place on Matthew Perry’s new comedy series Go On this season.

Perry will be joined by his former on-screen wife Courtney Cox who will be making a guest appearance on the show.

Cox, who has her own series in Cougar Town, will first appear as an unnamed character who Anne (Julie White) befriends and attempts to set up with Ryan (Perry).

Cox has reunited with some of her other Friends cast mates previously when Jennifer Aniston guest starred in both Cougar Town and Dirt and Cox herself made an appearance on Lisa Kudrow’s Web Therapy. Continue reading »

David Arquette (Scream 4) guest stars as the dedicated hotel concierge who goes to great – and illegal – lengths to ensure the wine wedding goes off without a hitch.

“Ain’t Love Strange”

In the Season 3 premiere, Jules (Courtney Cox) is miffed when Grayson (Josh Hopkins) calls her “predictable” – but she doesn’t know he has an ulterior motive for pushing her buttons. Meanwhile, Ellie (Christa Miller) frets that little Stan is turning into a “devil child,” or even worse, could grow up to be like Laurie (Busy Philipps); and Travis (Dan Byrd) likes his new off campus housing until Bobby (Brian Van Holt) tries to convince him to take dog Travis.

The hugely popular series Food Network Star has returned to Food Network Canada with the most star-studded season yet. Hosted by Bobby Flay and Giada DeLaurentiis, and aided by a selection committee including Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, Food Network Star follows 15 finalists as they compete in a series of food-related challenges for the chance to host their own show on Food Network.

In Tuesday night’s episode of Food Network Star, season five Star winner, Melissa d’Arabian (Ten Dollar Dinners), kicks off the episode by challenging each of the 11 remaining finalists to create an amuse bouche in 45 minutes for a special guest using cereals, toaster pastries, and snacks along with other items typically found in a home kitchen.

Guest star Michael Symon (Iron Chef America) joins the contestants as they present their dishes one-by-one.

Then, it’s off to the set of ABC’s hit series Cougar Town where the finalists are divided into five teams and challenged to create an on-set meal for the cast and crew. Each team must tailor their meal to the department they are assigned and Paula Deen (Paula’s Best Dishes), Courteney Cox, show creator Bill Lawrence and other cast members are on hand to evaluate the final product.
