Davis (Lorne Cardinal) gets a lesson in sensitivity after Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) is offended by his blonde jokes. Brent (Brent Butt) and Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) try to convince Hank (Fred Ewanuick) that superstitions are fake and Wanda (Nancy Robertson) takes on Emma’s (Janet Wright) identity at the Rec Plex realizing that becoming Emma Leroy isn’t as easy as she thought.

When it is announced that Dog River Days have been cancelled, Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) enlists the help of Davis (Lorne Cardinal) and Hank (Fred Ewanuick) to save them. Emma (Janet Wright) asks Oscar to get rid of the stray cats in her garden, but the task proves more difficult than Oscar (Eric Peterson) thought, and gives Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) a new reputation. Brent (Brent Butt) fakes an injury in Corner Gas to teach Wanda (Nancy Robertson) a lesson.

Lacey’s (Gabrielle Miller) generous donations to the thrift store make the perfect gifts for Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) to celebrate her recent promotion. Oscar (Eric Peterson) and Emma’s (Janet Wright) new home alarm system causes more emergencies than Davis (Lorne Cardinal) bargained for.

Monday, January 26 9:30 p.m.

When Brent (Brent Butt) decides to learn the guitar, his instructor makes him realize just how uncool he is, and leads Oscar (Eric Peterson) into the path of his childhood nemesis. Wanda (Nancy Robertson) takes on a secret identity in a new Howler column much to the suspicion of Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) and inconvenience of Davis (Lorne Cardinal). Hank tries to prove he’s stronger than Emma (Janet Wright) after taking Karen’s (Tara Spencer-Nairn) workout advice.

Monday, January 19 9:30 p.m.

Brent (Brent Butt) has trouble proving to Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) and Hank (Fred Ewanuick) that he’s a true Roughriders fan. Davis (Lorne Cardinal) enlightens Wanda (Nancy Robertson) to the unwritten rules of mixed CDs, while Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) volunteers to read books at the seniors’ home and has some unlikely fans in Oscar and Emma (Janet Wright).

Monday, January 12 9:30 p.m.

Hank (Fred Ewanuick), Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) and Wanda’s (Nancy Robertson) willpower is put to the test when they try to make each other break their New Year’s resolutions. Davis tries to get out of making coffee at the police station and Brent (Brent Butt) and Emma (Janet Wright) teach Oscar (Eric Peterson) a thing or two about being a Canadian citizen.

When Davis buys a table hockey game for the police station, Brent and Karen show down to see who is the ultimate champion. Meanwhile Lacey decides to nominate Emma as a local Woman of Distinction – provided Emma can prove her worth.
