He had a show. Then he had a different show. Now, The Comedy Network and CTV bring Coco back to Canada, as Conan O’Brien’s new late-night series, CONAN, premieres November 8. Airing Mondays – Thursdays, the hotly anticipated 60-minute series airs at 11 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network and at 1 a.m. ET on CTV (visit thecomedynetwork.ca and CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).
New episodes of CONAN are available on demand the day following their television broadcast, exclusively on thecomedynetwork.ca and CTV.ca.
“According to NAFTA, since Canada gave us Justin Bieber, we owe Canada me,” said O’Brien. “Everybody wins!”
“Canadians have always had a special appreciation for Conan, and Conan for Canada,” said Susanne Boyce, CTV’s President, Creative, Content and Channels, CTV Inc. “The arrival of CONAN sets up an unbeatable late-night lineup for both CTV and The Comedy Network.”
CONAN kicks off its inaugural week with a hot celeb line-up including Tom Hanks, Jon Hamm and Canada’s own Seth Rogen, Michael Cera and Jon Dore. Musical guests include rock powerhouses Jack White and Soundgarden among others.

With just 17 days before the premiere, Team Coco is rounding into form. Last week, it was announced that O’Brien and Andy Richter are teaming up again, reuniting one of the longest-running duos in late-night television.
“I’m thrilled to be going back to work with Conan, and very excited to start a whole new venture,” said Richter. “However, I am mostly looking forward to getting out of the house again.”
“This decision was made without my authority,” added O’Brien. “I will get to the bottom of this.”
It has also been announced that Jimmy Vivino — former associate music director, arranger, guitarist and vocalist for THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH CONAN O’BRIEN and LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIEN — will serve as band leader for CONAN, accompanied by The Basic Cable Band: Scott Healy (keyboards), Mike Merritt (bass), Mark Pender (trumpet), Richie “LaBamba” Rosenberg (trombone), Jerry Vivino (saxophone, woodwinds and vocals) and James Wormworth (drums).
Also recently recruited is Allan Kartun as Director. Kartun previously directed THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH CONAN O’BRIEN, which earned him an Emmy® nomination earlier this year for Outstanding Directing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Series.
