Eaten up by his guilt over Flaco’s death in the fire, Cruz confesses to Casey about the accident. Meanwhile, Shay recovers from a head injury sustained in the ambulance crash, and Severide asks Dawson for her help in dealing with his own injury.

After putting out a fire in an upscale townhouse, some of the firefighters find themselves accused of stealing a $50,000 necklace resulting in an internal investigation. Meanwhile, Cruz makes a desperate choice to save his brother caught who’s caught in a gang war, and a frustrated Shay reaches her limit with Severide.

After an accident on the job, Jose is forced to go on disability and leave his life as a firefighter behind. Meanwhile, Chief Boden tries to help out a suspected teenage firebug (Cody Sullivan), Severide receives an enticing invitation from Renee (Sarah Shahi), and Cruz tries to save his younger brother Leon (Jeff Lima) from a gang.

Wednesday, December 5 – 9pm ET/PT *At a Special Time This Week* on Global

A train accident involving a young victim leaves Mills questioning his future as a firefighter. Meanwhile, when Dawson and Shay work to save a 6-year-old girl from her abusive mother, their confrontation leads the woman to resort to dire actions, and Severide aggravates his injury while rescuing a heart attack victim.

Wednesday, November 21 – 10pm ET/PT on Global

After being summoned for a drug test, Severide tries to stall in an attempt to hide his injury and the painkillers he’s taking for them. Meanwhile, Truck and Squad are pinned down by gunfire while trying to help the victim of a gang shooting, and Casey delivers a baby at the scene of a massive car pileup on the freeway.

Wednesday, November 14 – 10pm ET/PT on Global

Growing impatient over Det. Voight’s relentlessness to get him to retract his statement against his son, Casey unknowingly catches the break he needed. Meanwhile, Dawson gets help from the woman she saved through the procedures that landed her in front of the disciplinary board.

Wednesday, November 7 – 10pm ET/PT on Global

Casey confronts Detective Voight about his intimidation tactics, vowing never to back down, and ends up paying the price for his decision. Meanwhile, Dawson faces disciplinary action for her on-the-job conduct and Severide reaches out to an old flame and pharmaceutical rep, in hopes she might be able to help alleviate his injury problems.

The lack of hockey on Canadian TV thanks to the lockout is not proving all that bad for some networks.

Hockey fans are turning to their favourite American shows to pass the time as they wait for their teams to return to the ice.

CTV is reporting a big rise in Saturday night viewing for their Big Bang Night on CTV, which comprises of re-runs of The Big Bang Theory.

They have doubled their audience in the 8-10pm timeslot while fellow Bell channels The Comedy Network and TSN boast rises of 56,000 and 50,000 viewers respectively. Continue reading »

Chief Boden garners bad press and negative feelings within the department when he’s accused of leaving a homeless man to die in a warehouse fire, after ordering his men to evacuate the scene. Meanwhile, Shay finds herself face-to-face with her ex-girlfriend and her new husband during a routine call, while Det. Voight ramps up his intimidation tactics aimed at Casey in an attempt to discourage him from testifying against his son.
