Gladys accompanies Marco and his mother on a journey to an internment camp in a bid to help Marco’s detained father. Meanwhile, Lorna tries to impress the girls at the factory, Betty and Kate visit Leon’s church, and Vera discovers that helping out soldiers has its benefits.

Canadians made Bomb Girls one of the hit original local series last winter. The much anticipated series returns with the premiere episode “The Quickening” – Wednesday, January 2 at 8pm ET/PT on Global.

For six years, Rosie O’Donnell was America’s best friend. For an hour each day she served as host and executive producer of the critically acclaimed and Emmy Award winning nationally syndicated talk/variety series “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.”

A surprise inspection throws Victory Munitions into a frenzy giving Lorna an opportunity to finally rid the factory of Marco. Meanwhile, Kate finds herself as the prime suspect in a raft of thefts and Gladys lays a trap that nets a shocking secret.

Friday November 2 – 9pm ET/PT on Global

The women at Victory Munitions must band together when an accidental explosion sends a worker to the hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, Kate scrambles to protect her false identity.

Shaw Media announced the start of production on Season 2 of Bomb Girls, currently shooting 12 X 1-hour episodes in Toronto now until mid-December 2012.

Last season, Bomb Girls made its indelible mark as the #1 new Canadian series, and the program will return to Global Television in the new year (date to be announced).

The critically acclaimed series stars Academy Award nominee Meg Tilly (Agnes of God, The Big Chill) and Jodi Balfour (The Sinking of the Laconia). Gemini award-winner Michael Seater (Life with Derek) is joining the cast as Ivan, a gregarious factory worker and object of interest of the girls working the assembly line at Victory Munitions.
