mutts2300Space has given us the first look at ‘The Mutts’ from the new original series Bitten.

Noah Danby (Copper), Pascal Langdale (Flashpoint), and Curtis Caravaggio (Supernatural) will play the three pack-less werewolves in the series, which centres on the only female werewolf in the world.

Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, Ted) plays the lead role of Elena alongside the trio, who are described as “rough and tumble ruffians” who are killing humans pin Pack territory and putting them in danger of discovery. Continue reading »

Bittenpreview640Space has given us the first look at their new original Canadian series Bitten.

Laura Vendervoort (Ted, Smallville) features alongside Greyston Holt (Durham County, Motive), Greg Bryk (Rookie Blue, Combat Hospital) and Paul Greene (Harry’s Law, The Client List) in the series, which centres on the only female werewolf in the world.

The series is due to hit screens in January 2014.

The three male leads have been added to the cast of the new Toronto-filmed Space series Bitten.

Greg Bryk (A History of Violence), Greyston Holt (Alcatraz) and Paul Greene (The Client List) will lead the cast alongside ethe previously announced Laura Vandervoort (Smallville).

Space announced today that production has begun on its buzzed-about new Original Drama series Bitten. Featuring three new male leads, the Canadian scripted series will shoot in studio and on location in Toronto, Hamilton, and in the Hespeler area in Cambridge, ON until late summer. LauraVandervoortSpace has recruited Toronto-born actress Laura Vandervoort to star in their new original series Bitten.

Vandervoort (Smallville, Ted) will play the role of Elena Michael, the world’s only female werewolf in the series based on the Women of the Otherworld novels by Canadian author Kelley Armstrong.

As revealed to fans today at Toronto ComiCon, Toronto-born actress Laura Vandervoort (Smallville,Ted) is set to star in the new Space original series Bitten, produced by No Equal Entertainment, Hoodwink Entertainment, and Entertainment One (eOne). Continue reading »

Bell Media’s Space announced today at the start of Fan Expo Canada that it has ordered the new original scripted drama series Bitten from Vancouver’s No Equal Entertainment and Hoodwink Entertainment, and Toronto’s Entertainment One (eOne).

Based on the best-selling Women of the Otherworld novels by Canadian author Kelley Armstrong, thirteen episodes of the one-hour drama have been ordered, with production set to begin in Toronto next spring.

Armstrong, and Executive Producer, J.B. Sugar, will be onsite at Fan Expo Canada this weekend, appearing on a SPACE panel on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. ET (Room 715) to discuss her novels and the new Space series. Continue reading »
