Calgary singer-songwriter Jann Arden takes to the stage as part of Bravo!’s AT THE CONCERT HALL series. The eight-time JUNO Award-winning songstress performs tracks from her 10th studio album Free including, “Daughter Down,” “A Million Miles Away,” title track “Free,” and cornerstone hits “Insensitive” and “Good Mother.” The sharp, witty, and always entertaining songstress shares stories of her inspiration, the origins of some of her deepest lyrics, and, of course, never disappoints with anecdotes about her parents in JANN ARDEN AT THE CONCERT HALL.

Canadian jazz sensation Molly Johnson takes to the stage in the next instalment of Bravo!’s AT THE CONCERT HALL series. Airing Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 10 p.m. ET, MOLLY JOHNSON AT THE CONCERT HALL includes hits from Johnson’s three previous solo albums – Molly Johnson, Another Day, and Messin’ Around – and treats the audience to songs from Lucky, her recently released collection of standards.

Johnson begins the show with a stirring rendition of “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” from the Gershwin opera Porgy & Bess. From there, Johnson romances the crowd with her original songs “Lucky,” “Sticks and Stones,” and “Rain.” Johnson closes the show with a jazzy, playful version of Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billy Joe.”

Between sets, Johnson chats with host Erica Ehm about growing up in a vibrant, creative Toronto household. She speaks about her relationship with theatre legend Ed Mirvish, who asked a young Johnson to appear in his shows, igniting a lifelong passion for the arts. Today, the singer is a proud wife and mother, who instils the artistic spirit in her children. An Officer of the Order of Canada, Johnson speaks passionately about her various philanthropic causes and her involvement with AIDS research.
