ArrowThe Canadian star of Arrow is lining up his next gig: parenting.

Stephen Amell and his wife Cassandra Jean are expecting a child and the actor couldn’t be happier about it.

“I’m excited — no I’m not excited, I’m very excited!” Amell told ET Canada. “I’m sure that nervous energy will accompany that eventually, but only in a positive way.”

Arrow is due back on CTV this fall.

7:00pm – Wednesday, January 30 on CTV

Thea (Willa Holland) is in trouble with the police after she gets caught using a drug called vertigo. Oliver (Stephen Amell) thinks the only way to keep his sister out of jail is to find the dealer, a man who goes by the name of “The Count” (Seth Gabel, NIP/TUCK), and turns to McKenna Hall (Janina Gavankar, TRUE BLOOD), an old flame and current cop, for help.

7:00pm – Wednesday, January 23 on CTV

The next person on Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) list is Diggle’s (David Ramsey) commanding officer and mentor from Afghanistan, Ted Gaynor (Ben Browder, STARGATE SG-1). Oliver suspects Ted is responsible for recent armoured truck robberies, but Diggle defends Ted and takes a job at Ted’s security company to keep an eye on him.

7:00pm – Wednesday, December 12 on CTV

Oliver (Stephen Amell) discovers that after he and his father went missing, Moira (Susanna Thompson) and Thea (Willa Holland) stopped celebrating Christmas. Determined to make up for lost time and restore a sense of normalcy to the Queen household, Oliver decides to throw the family a Christmas party.

7:00pm – Wednesday, December 5 on CTV

As Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Helena (Jessica DeGouw, UNDERBELLY) grow closer, Oliver trains her to be his ally, complete with showing her how to use a crossbow. Diggle (David Ramsey) disapproves of Oliver sharing his secret with Helena, as he’s not sure she can be trusted, but Oliver refuses to listen to his concerns. Helena’s quest for revenge proves to be too strong for Oliver to handle, after she kills the head of the Triad and all hell breaks loose.

7:00pm – Wednesday, November 28 on CTV

Oliver (Stephen Amell) encounters a mysterious woman, Helena Bertinelli (Jessica DeGouw, THE MYSTERY OF A HANSOM CAB), daughter of mob boss Frank Bertinelli (Jeffrey Nordling, TRON: LEGACY), who he can finally be himself with, but he soon comes to realize she’s hiding dangerous secrets of her own.

7:00pm – Wednesday, November 14 on CTV

A gang of bank robbers hits a local bank and wounds an off-duty police officer during a heist. Diggle (David Ramsey) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he needs to deviate from his father’s list and start helping the citizens of Starling City. Meanwhile, Tommy (Colin Donnell) asks Thea (Willa Holland) for relationship advice, but things get awkward when she realizes he was asking about Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Moira (Susanna Thompson) confronts Oliver about all of his recent disappearances in the middle of family functions.

Following back-to-back weeks of heroic ratings on CTV, one of the fall season’s most talked-about new series, Arrow, takes aim on a one time only special day and time tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV before being promoted to its new and permanent home on CTV, Wednesdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Nov. 14.
