Whether she’s spoofing US Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin or writing, acting and producing her own hit comedy series, Tina Fey (“SNL”, “Mean Girls”) has tickled the funny-bones of critics and audiences the world-over. Fey writes, executive-produces and stars as writer Liz Lemon in the outrageously-funny workplace-comedy, “30 Rock”, set behind-the-scenes of a live variety show. Told through the comedic voice of Fey, “30 Rock” features Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy, the brash network executive who turns Liz’s show (and life) upside down with his meddling ways.

In addition to “30 Rock” being named outstanding comedy series at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards, Tina Fey took home Emmy’s for outstanding writing and performing while the legendary Alec Baldwin was awarded a statue for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series. At this year’s ceremony, “30 Rock” tied the record for most comedy Emmy’s in a single season.

“30 Rock” series regulars include, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Scott Adsit, and Jack McBrayer and boasts a cavalcade of guest appearances from some of the most respected and recognizable faces in comedy. Watch for Jennifer Aniston (“Friends”) to guest as Liz’s former roommate and Salma Hayek (“Ugly Betty”) to appear in a recurring role as Elisa, Jack Donaghy’s new love interest. Other high-profile guest stars this season include, Megan Mullally (“Will and Grace”), Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”) and Oprah Winfrey.

Catch the season premiere of “30 Rock” Thursday, October 30 on Citytv.
