30RockB&JUS ice cream chain Ben & Jerry’s have released their 30 Rock inspired flavour to commemorate the series finale this week.

Ben & Jerry’s Greek Yogurt: Liz Lemon, named after Tina Fey’s character in the comedy, will go on sale in a few months’ time in the States.

The special edition is a lemon-flavoured frozen yoghurt with a blueberry swirl.

30 RockVery soon you will actually be able to savour the taste of 30 Rock.

Ben & Jerry’s is set to release an ice cream flavour inspired by the comedy series to honour the show’s finale.

The flavour will be unveiled at a special finale viewing party in New York City for which revellers are urged to dress as their favourite 30 Rock character.

The company has previously modelled a flavour on a punchline Alec Baldwin gave at the end of a Saturday Night Live skit. The “Schweddy Balls” flavour was boycotted by some family groups and various supermarkets declined to carry it. Continue reading »

Alec Baldwin has confirmed he will be sticking with TV following the conclusion of 30 Rock.

The actor has signed a two-year overall deal with Universal Television that will see him produce new series projects for the studio.

The deal is similar to the one signed by fellow 30 Rocker Tina Fey with the same studio.

Baldwin has hinted in the past that he may leave acting following his time on 30 Rock and return to “more of a normal life”. Continue reading »
