Private Practice Spoilers: Derek Sheppard's Sister to Appear on Private Practice?!

We met Derek's older sister, Nancy, on Season 3 of Grey's Anatomy. Now we'll meet his little sister, Amelia. That's right, we have Little Grey, now Little McDreamy is coming!

To Private Practice.

Seriously, it's true, as odd as it might sound. Caterina Scorsone (Crash) is joining the Private Practice cast in the new, recurring role of Dr. Amelia Shepherd, EW reports.

Scorsone joins the Private Practice cast in Episode 19, which is slated to air in early April. She is not going to be heading to Seattle Grace, according to reports, at least not yet.

On Private Practice, her character gets a job at Oceanside Wellness.

According to Fancast, Amelia is "purposely flying under her venerable brother’s radar" when she brings to a somewhat volatile medical case to Oceanside Wellness Center.

Gossip Girl Spoilers: Romance; About to Get Messy?

EW's Michael Ausiello gives us the scoop on some of the new drama we can expect with the return of Gossip Girl this season!

Question: Is something going to happen between Dan and Blair on Gossip Girl? Or were you just pulling our legs? —Janice
Ausiello:
Maybe a little of both? I asked executive producer Stephanie Savage about the possibility of a Dan/Blair hook-up down the line, and here’s what she said: “There are only so many combinations [you can explore] on the show, so I think you have to be open to all of them at some point. So, certainly, we have an open mind when it comes to them… Those two are really gold when they’re together. They have great on-screen chemistry.”

Katherine Heigl Will Return to Grey's Next Year?!

According to EW's Michael Ausiello, there might be doctors leaving Grey's Anatomy, but it doesn't look like it will be Katherine Heigl!

Here's this week's exerpt from his blog:

looks like Grey’s Anatomy will be down two doctors next season, and, believe it or not, neither of them are played by Katherine Heigl!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Mercy West transplants Robert Baker (Dr. Percy) and Nora Zehetner (Dr. Adamson) are not expected to return next season.

There’s no official word on the fate of fellow “invaders” Jesse Williams (Dr. Avery) and Sarah Drew (Dr. Kepner), but there’s buzz both may stick around long-term. Grey’s boss Shonda Rhimes has until June to decide whether to exercise the series regular options in their contracts. (Here’s hoping she does; I like those two.)

Grey's Spoilers: Insight Into Grey's Love Triangle

It was probably obvious, but it doesn't look like the love triangle between Owen, Cristina and Teddy has found closure yet. When Kevin Mckidd sat down with TV Guide recently, he dished on how he thinks things should unfold on the show, and might have revealed a bit of how they will!

“I think as the season draws to a close it’s going to get pretty intense and more complicated then it already is,” Kevin McKidd (Owen) told TV Guide Magazine.

“Also I think things come up with Owen beyond Christina and Teddy," he adds.

"More stuff comes up about his past that he has to deal with so that gets really interesting as well as complicates even more his situation with the two women.”

“I always imagined that Owen and Christina would always be together," he notes. "As me being a fan of the show and going beyond playing the character, I’ve always kind of pictured them being together and having this tempestuous relationship.”

This Week Grey's Anatomy Will Go Back in Time!

One of the episodes that fans have been anticipating all season long will take place this week as some of the cast of Grey's Anatomy travel back in time and share some of their history. We'll see the Chief as he goes back prior to 1982, divulging more information perhaps on his affair with Meredith's mom, and perhaps we'll even get a glimpse at young Dr.Grey!

Since we don't know much about the past of Dr. Bailey or Callie, we'll also see them before their Grey's Anatomy days (i.e. the episode will go back prior to 2004 when he first got a glimpse inside of the Seattle Grace halls).

Previews are already airing, and photos from the show are out so it's time to start aligning your expectations and get ready for a time warp!

Grey's Spoilers: The Scoop on Mark and Lexi

Eric Dane's been talking to TV Guide, and he's given the scoop on his character's relationship with Lexi, who has newly transformed herself into a blonde!

It looks all but certain at this point, but if there were a nail to be placed in the proverbial coffin of Mark and Lexie on Grey's Anatomy, Eric Dane may have done so last week.

If her second hookup with Alex wasn't proof that the relationship is dead, or at least in a coma, Dane said “We’re done,” when asked about it his Valentine’s Day premiere.

“At least done for now. Mark is stubborn and was shocked and hurt by her and he isn’t going to let that go very easily.” It certainly showed in "Valentine's Day Massacre."

As for Mark’s surprise progeny Sloan, whose arrival indirectly doomed Mexie, the book appears to be closed. “I don’t know if we will see the daughter again," Dane said.

Jackson Avery Romance on Grey's

ew Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams (Dr. Jackson Avery) has made quite an impression on fans this season already, and we have only begun to explore his character.

With his good looks and charm, it was really just a matter of time before the Mercy West transplant got some lovin’ on Grey's Anatomy. The only question is, who with?

Grey’s is getting a little crazy,” he told TV Guide Sunday. “I think there’s going to be a lot of changes for my character. Jackson Avery has a lot of big things happening.”

And yes, that means romance.

“There’s a lot of relationship changes. Within the group,” he teases. Asked if sparks fly between he and a fellow Mercy Wester or Seattle Grace original, he played it coy.

“Well, because it might be one of both,” says Williams. “Jackson ... he’s a man.”

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: More on Bailey's Romance

rom the early days of Team MerDer vs. Team Addek, to the more recent bed-swapping of Mark, Lexie and Alex, certain Grey's Anatomy debates provoke varied fan reactions.

Miranda Bailey's love life is not one of those issues. After all she's been through with her divorce, what Grey's Anatomy fan isn't excited for a Bailey romance heating up soon?

According to TV Guide, Chandra Wilson will be back behind the camera again after making her directorial debut this season in the fantastic episode, "Give Peace a Chance."

Soon enough, Wilson will direct an episode in which the new anesthesiologist (Jason George) films some steamy scenes with her. Expect "lots of romance and kissing scenes."

Wilson is not listed as the director of the next two episodes, so we're not entirely sure when this happens, but we assure you we'll be watching (excitedly!) when it does!

Grey's Spoilers: Is the Chief Leaving for Good?

It's safe to say the Seattle Grace-Mercy West merger did not work out for anyone.

No offense to Dr. Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and his good looks, but no one else came out of this looking good. Especially not the Chief, who started drinking again.

On Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked," the truth finally came out thanks to Derek, who's poised to take the top job.

So what does this mean for James Pickens, Jr., (Chief Richard Webber) staying on the show? How will the doctors take to Patrick Dempsey's Derek being the boss now?

Sources say Pickens is not leaving the show and Derek is not permanently taking his position. But Derek will be acting as interim chief while Richard works on his issues.

"Obviously the minute that your leader trips, there's a ripple effect that happens throughout the hospital," Jessica Capshaw said. "It's going to bring great challenge."

Grey's Spoilers - Shonda Rhimes Dishes on Grey's Romance

Valentine's Day is around the corner, and Grey's Anatomy will be celebrating, according to Shonda Rhimes in an interview with TV Guide:

The last new episode of Grey's Anatomy was an all-inclusive holiday bonanza. Next month, the show will get into a festive mood once again in its first-ever Valentine’s Day episode.

The big plans? Derek and Owen have a double date in mind. Cute, right?

It might be, except that “Meredith is not a Valentine’s Day girl, and neither is Cristina,” creator Shonda Rhimes tells TV Guide, “so the guys will try to force them to enjoy the holiday.”

Celebrating Valentine's Day more willingly? Callie and Arizona!

The two "go out on a date and exchange gifts at four o’clock because they know they’ll be in the ER in the evening,” then play cupid for Bailey and anesthesiologist Ben Warren.

Grey's Spoilers: Things are About to Get Hot!

Fancast brings some more great information about the relationships that are about to heat up on the Grey's Anatony set!

Q: Do you know with whom Alex is supposed to have a one-night stand?

A: Indeed, “a lot of people do the deed” during the January 14 Grey’s Anatomy / Private Practice crossover episodes, Shonda Rhimes says in the new TV Guide Magazine.

Although Alex is married and as such is not supposed to get it on with anybody but his Mrs., I do know the identity of his indiscretion, and she has an “e” in her first name.

My advice to Dr. Karev: Dude, you better sort through whatever issues you’ve got and soon, because your wife, Izzie, is going to be resurfacing at Seattle Grace January 21!

Q: Can you help out some spoiler-hungry lesbians? We haven’t heard a peep regarding upcoming storylines and/or the next hurdle for Callie and Arizona on Grey’s Anatomy.

Grey's Spoilers - Rocky Waters for Derek and Meredith

Ellen Pompeo is just returning from maternity leave which means that Meredith is about to get more screen time than she has all season, and the focus is about to return to her relationship with Derek. We revealed previously that they might encounter a few issues later this season, and TV Guide gives a little more information.

Q: Should I be worried about Mer and Der on Grey's Anatomy?

A: Rule No. 1 of marriage (Post It or otherwise): Never let slip something your spouse told you in confidence. Derek will learn that lesson the hard way when he blabs one of Meredith's secrets around the hospital. While Derek will definitely be in the doghouse, the secret's impact will be much more wide-ranging at Seattle Grace-Mercy West.

Grey's Spoilers on Owen and Cristina

We just learned that Kim Raver is going to become a full-time cast member of Grey's Anatomy, and E! Online has the scoop on what's to come.

Q: Scoop! Now! On Grey's Anatomy please! Preferably Owen and Cristina?

A: How about Cristina and Teddy? Don't worry, they aren't resurrecting the foiled plan from years ago I hinted at that Cristina (Sandra Oh) would be bisexual, but it sure sounds like Teddy and Cristina will have lots of fun stuff coming up.

Kim Raver says that, "There's an interesting scene where Teddy drunkenly reveals things about Cristina to Owen, and that's really fun. It was so great that they had her drunk, and Teddy just goes on and on and on. It was interesting."

Q: Thanks for the scoop on Cristina and Owen in your Kim Raver story. I was surprised to hear you say that Kevin McKidd had dyed his hair. Is this for an upcoming storyline?
