With three stops already complete on the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Season 3 audition tour, CTV today announced the two remaining locations on the cross-country tour. The audition tour will spin into Halifax on Saturday, March 6 at the Bella Rose Arts Centre before it wraps up at the final stop in Calgary on Saturday, March 13 at the MacEwan Conference and Event Centre (University of Calgary), giving dancers two more opportunities to perform in front of the judges and prove that they have what it takes to become Canada’s next Favourite Dancer.

For those who missed the dramatic results during the October finale, here's a chance to see who was named Canada's favourite dancer during the Season 2 finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA.

Earlier this year, millions of Canadians watched dance partners Tara-Jean Popowich, 20, from Lethbridge, AB and Vincent Desjardins, 20, from Trois-Rivières, QC share a passionate kiss at the end of one of their routines for the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA (Season 2) finale. Little did viewers know that the steamy kiss set against Enrique Iglesias’ “Hero” didn’t need any rehearsing!

In an interview with etalk, Canada’s Most-Watched Entertainment News Program, Canada’s favourite dancing queen Tara-Jean told etalk exclusively, that she is indeed currently dating runner-up Vincent.

“We are together…it’s pretty official now,” said Tara-Jean in her interview with etalk.

During the Top 4 Performance show, the remaining dancers performed an astounding 11 dance numbers, including solos and a Top 4 cabaret group number. For the season finale, Jean Marc Genereux, Tré Armstrong, Luther Brown and Blake McGrath sit behind a super-sized judges desk with guest judges Rex Harrington and Mia Michaels as well as Michael Jackson's This Is It concert and film director Kenny Ortega. It all comes down to this: either Everett, Jayme Rae, Tara-Jean or Vincent will be named Canada's Favourite Dancer during the two-hour live finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA.

Last night, 2.35 million viewers were watching as TARA-JEAN was crowned Canada’s Favourite Dancer during the season finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. The two-hour live dance extravaganza won its timeslot with total viewers and sweeps key demos, including young A18-34 and the three key female demos both nationally and in the key Toronto market, and finished with a series high average audience of 1.7 million viewers; more viewers than the inaugural Season One Finale and up 19% in the key A25-54 demo alone.

In all, nearly 6 million (5.8 million) viewers tuned in to some part of the Finale broadcast on CTV, preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms.

Canada has watched her Jive, Salsa, Quick Step, Rumba, Mambo and Hustle to the top and following tonight’s gripping SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA second season finale, CTV congratulates TARA-JEAN Popowich, on becoming Canada’s Favourite Dancer. Host Leah Miller announced live that TARA-JEAN, 20, a Contemporary dancer from Lethbridge, AB received the majority of close to three million votes cast during the countrywide poll on Tuesday night and therefore claims the title of Canada’s Favourite Dancer and the grand prize of $100,000 as well as the keys to a brand new 2010 Mazda 3 Sport.

The nation has cast their final votes for the season. Canada has spoken. It was revealed live on CTV tonight by host Leah Miller that after close to two million votes from across the country following Tuesday night’s performance episode, EVERETT, JAYME RAE, TARA-JEAN and VINCENT are still in the running to become Canada’s favourite dancer as EMANUEL and MELANIE were eliminated from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. The Top 4 dancers will hit the stage during a special two-hour performance episode on Tuesday, October 20 beginning at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, before the winner is finally revealed during the live, two-hour finale on Sunday, October 25 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings).

The Final Four dancers are revealed in this emotional results episode as another guy and girl are eliminated and leave the competition.

As announced during last night’s Top 6 Performance episode, CTV has ordered a third heart-racing season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. Dancers from across the country who have been watching from their living rooms now  have their chance to bust a move live, and in person, for the judges. CTV and Danse TV Productions announced that the third season audition tour will stop in Toronto on Friday, November 13 and in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, December 5. The tour will also spin into Calgary, Montreal and a soon to be announced East Coast city. Additional audition dates, details and locations will be announced soon. Information will be posted at dance.ctv.ca as it becomes available. With only two weeks left before Canada names its favourite dancer, it was revealed live on CTV tonight that following more than 1.5 million votes, KIM Gingras and CODY Bonnell had been eliminated from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. Next week, the six remaining dancers will take to the stage for the Top 6 Performance episode on Tuesday, October 13 beginning at 8 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings).
