With three stops already complete on the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Season 3 audition tour, CTV today announced the two remaining locations on the cross-country tour. The audition tour will spin into Halifax on Saturday, March 6 at the Bella Rose Arts Centre before it wraps up at the final stop in Calgary on Saturday, March 13 at the MacEwan Conference and Event Centre (University of Calgary), giving dancers two more opportunities to perform in front of the judges and prove that they have what it takes to become Canada’s next Favourite Dancer.

SYTYCDC Season 2 Winner Tara-Jean and Runner-Up Vincent Dating
Earlier this year, millions of Canadians watched dance partners Tara-Jean Popowich, 20, from Lethbridge, AB and Vincent Desjardins, 20, from Trois-Rivières, QC share a passionate kiss at the end of one of their routines for the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA (Season 2) finale. Little did viewers know that the steamy kiss set against Enrique Iglesias’ “Hero” didn’t need any rehearsing!
In an interview with etalk, Canada’s Most-Watched Entertainment News Program, Canada’s favourite dancing queen Tara-Jean told etalk exclusively, that she is indeed currently dating runner-up Vincent.
“We are together…it’s pretty official now,” said Tara-Jean in her interview with etalk.

Last night, 2.35 million viewers were watching as TARA-JEAN was crowned Canada’s Favourite Dancer during the season finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. The two-hour live dance extravaganza won its timeslot with total viewers and sweeps key demos, including young A18-34 and the three key female demos both nationally and in the key Toronto market, and finished with a series high average audience of 1.7 million viewers; more viewers than the inaugural Season One Finale and up 19% in the key A25-54 demo alone.
In all, nearly 6 million (5.8 million) viewers tuned in to some part of the Finale broadcast on CTV, preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms.

So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 3 Auditions Begin
As announced during last night’s Top 6 Performance episode, CTV has ordered a third heart-racing season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. Dancers from across the country who have been watching from their living rooms now have their chance to bust a move live, and in person, for the judges. CTV and Danse TV Productions announced that the third season audition tour will stop in Toronto on Friday, November 13 and in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, December 5. The tour will also spin into Calgary, Montreal and a soon to be announced East Coast city. Additional audition dates, details and locations will be announced soon.
